I got a call from this number stating- "There are 2 fraud charges attached to your name and social security number in your county. You will be served at your place of employement."
The called me by my maiden name and I've been married for 7 years. It's a scam. All she kept saying is, "they." What law firm won't announce who they are and where they're calling?!

Its a scam if there was a summons they would not call you the police would show up at your house, school and or place of employment to serve you. they will not call you to threaten you of the summons.

I received two calls from this number. A voice mail was left stating that I would receive a summons either at my place of work or home because there were two fraud activities against my social security number. I should call their legal department before I receive the summons because I could not do anything once I received the summons.I thought there was something fishy about the phone call; so, I googled the phone number and found that many people had received the same call - it's a scam!

    Total scam.

    1.  A private law firm would not be involved in prosecuting fraud.  That's done by public prosecutors.

    2.  No legitimate process server notifies you in advance that you are going to be served with papers.

Got a call today .. this is the same voice recording as https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-205-533-8851/4#p769898617016926418 and https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-202-697-4451/3#p766808413980649326 among others. I guess they hijacked a new # until the "authorites" track them down. Do they really think we are that stupid??

The are known as Goldman and Associates GMA , Sterling & Assoc or Oconnel Grenman.

I am sure they are going to say they are in Tulsa, OKLAHOMA
They are so stupid that they have my name as my first name and then repeats it as my last name. ..

Got another call today .. same recorded message asking for my first name twice... still waiting for them to come to my house or work so I can talk to them .. (I am being sarcastic as I know they are scammers).

I would just love for them to mess up one time so that we can catch them. I know we never will cuz they hide behinf spoofed #'s or temp #'s they set up. and then the addresses they give you are only located at a MAILBOX ETC, UPS STORE so forth and they can easily just have their mail transferred.

Remember people that everything they state just in the recording is illegal. By them refusing to ID themselves tells you they are shady and only wanting to scare the crap out of you to give them $$. Guess what happens with that money-- it goes right to their back pockets. DO NOT PAY a so called agency, lawyer etc unless you are for sure they are legit. Any law suits will come directly from the courts . If you are sued for a debt you will have chance to talk at court. You can sometime "defeat" the creditor and protect your money (or spouses). If you are going to pay make damn sure your are paying a legit collection agency or lawyer or pay the creditor directly. They will take the money and send it to the agency (I worked for a 3rd party agency years ago - a legit one).

    Once again BE SAFE!!

If you are receiving these calls it is because you took out a payday loan and never paid it back they are calling to collect the debt that you owe on. They can pursue you legally if the debt balance meets your individual state requirements. Maybe you shouldn't be a piece of crap low life bum who doesn't pay their debts. Just saying... file all the cases you want to you won't win and you will look that much more like a piece of crap. I don't work for this company but being as I am a bill collector, I find it hilarious. You are bums.

UHHH HELLO -- not the case.. these people had "hijacked" part of our information and try to steal money from people who are not educated enough to check out who they are. True if you do not pay a debt they can go after you legally BUT, mind you, the messages left and not ID'ing themselves and the threats of a suit and warent and not verifying who the message is left for is illegal.

They are to verify the person they are talking to, the address they live. Once that is verified then they must ID who they are and where they are located. These SCUMS do not do any of this. They hide behind either SPOOFED #'s or temp. number they obtain. The stated address (if ever given) is always at a MAIL BOX ETC or UPS store or a PO BOX where they can not be traced. The Post Office will not give info, the other you can have mail forwarded to another address.

The company names they give are made up as you search for them there is no findings. Legit Collection agencies and Collection lawyers will be listed somewhere - ie licenced by a state, listed by sec. of state as a company in that state etc.

I was a 3rd party collector and know the rules and laws. I wonder how or why you found this thread if you do not work for them.. trolling around ?? hmmm alst thing I will say to you:

    UHHHHH GOOD BYE!
