This happens to me too. First they'll call for a Marilyn Barteil and then a CY Ellie Ellis (yeah, that's a real name) for a couple of weeks and BOOM! magically, the same exact number will call asking for MY name! I think these idiots phish too...They're hoping you call back and say that's not me so they can ask your name and say Well I have you listed on here too. or some other half-assed plan that subhumans come up with. It's beyond me how people soooooo STUPID and obviously UNEDUCATED have been getting away with this shite for so long! Someone needs to hold Magic Jack and other VOIP companies accountable for giving out numbers to unverified names and/or companies. I have a call blocking app that also tells me who the phone number belongs to and one was Jerry S. Cloud. Yep, yet another real name. I had one guy call stating he was Ridley Scott. I just HAD to ask him why he needed to work in collections when Gladiator and Alien is being played on TV every ten minutes; isn't he getting royalties? Every time one of these idiots calls, I Google the name they use and it's always an athlete or some relatively obscure actor or actress, dead person, etc. SAME OLD SAME OLD>>>

just put it this way -- I have been waiting for them to "serve" me .. still funny how they have my name first name and then first name.. (ie BOB, BOB).. not sure if that is how the "court papers" will show up as because that not me!!

Same recorded message, but it is a guy.  They say I "have to" call back before I can be "served" and the number is different then the caller ID (205-533-8851).  What a joke.  I have no idea what they are referring to as a complaint against me, but I don't have any outstanding negative debt.  Nor should you have to call a number to be served.  If it's legit, they will just show up at your house or job.

Me too, same message, Is getting to be too much, I get a call weekly for months.

This number called my Dad about me 20 times in the last two months. Stating they were going to arrest me at my job. I have had it with these idiotic scams. I called my local PD and they told me to block their number. I also called the SCAM back and threatened them that I contacted my local officials and they need to stop harassing my father.

i get these pre recorded messages a few times a month from different states.One from Alabama, Washington D.C., Tennessee. All with the same script and voice. If you dont call this nunber back,we will send these bank fraud charges against you to court to and you wil be served. SCAM

To all if you actually do talk to someone .. be very vague about your information.. one they are not going to serve you. They are phishing for information. They want to scare you into paying them something that can not be traced back to them nor refundable. Do not be afraid of them they will try to sacare you but remember every threat is a violation (if they are a true lawyer or collection agency or whatever they call themselves.

Just try to get any information you can.. probe for city they are in , the company name as they will give variations of one that is not real or part of a shell company if it is set up some where. Any address they give (they never do) make sure you give it to us including email or websites.

Just got another call,this time it did not show the phone nunber who was calling. It showed unknown number on my caller id.Same threats.I deleted the message. This calls are getting to piss be me off.

Got a call from a man who did not identify himself or his company on a prerecorded message. He said they would serve me with papers at my home or office and gave a reference number and call back number if I wanted to settle out of court.

First of all, what type of business won't identify themselves when they call you?  Also, I have never received a letter about any debt. If they have a legitimate issue with me, they should send me a letter or serve me with court papers. This is scam.  Block their number!!!

I get the same message 3 times a day the last 4 months I just want it to stop .. and I waited for them to serve me every day the past 4 months and stiil nothing so how do I get the calls to stop
