- Circletrack18Called at 12:20pm
The caller id didn't show anything so I didn't answer.
Left no message - KathrynCaller said they were recieving information from my computer and want me to follow instructions to correct the problem. After arguing with me that my tech guy didnt know what he was talking about!!! I told them to remove me from the calling list. They hung up.
- J. Holmes| 2 repliesI dislike extremely unsolicited phone call. The continue despite the fact We are on the "do not call list"
- John holmes| 1 replyStop the unwanted calls.
- Dislike Scammers| 1 replyGot a call from someone with an Indian or Pakistani accent who identified himself as Sam with Tech Support America. He tried to get me to run eventvwr. I figure he probably wanted me to expose my I.P. address and open a portal into my computer so he could look for PII and possibly information for accessing financial accounts. I played along for about a half-hour. Supposing that I was too computer ignorant to give him what he wanted he tried to get me to go to www.onesupport.me. I don't know what that site is; perhaps a third-party site that might facilitate some access to my computer. At that point I decided to call him what he is -- a scammer. He denied it and hung up on me.
- Caller: Tech Support America
- Love to Prank scammers replies to Dislike ScammersI have been getting those sort of calls also lately and have devised a reply to which I play along with them and then when they ask what I see on the screen I tell them I see a picture of them having sex with a goat we trade insults back and forth and then I tell them I am a former member of Anonymous and noticed that they were calling from a phone line provided over the internet and that while we have been talking I hacked into their server got all their banking information and donated it to "Save a goat dot com" been recording all these conversations and playing them back just for grins!!! It never gets old
- ToniB. replies to J. Holmes| 1 replyThat do not call list is a joke. It simply does not work! I finally had to resort to a Sentry 2 device which you can program the calls you want to come through (friends, etc.) and block the telemarketers. It takes a bit of work to program the keepers but it's worth it. So far I have blocked 240 numbers since last April. If they call back the phone will ring once and then they're cut off. When a scammer calls, all you have to do upon seeing their number on the Sentry 2 is hold down the 'Reject' button until it says 'done'. That's the end of them. I have received as many as 15 telemarketers a day. This ought to be against the law. It's a terrible intrusion into people's lives.
- Tamianth replies to ToniB.The DNC isn't a call blocker and can not protect you from the illegal callers, extortion scammers, foreign country's and frauds. Criminals do not obey laws simply said. They use spoofed numbers which make it hard to track them down.. it takes time to do this and many subpoenas for call records.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier. - Dr BobSaid I had bad computer generating errors on my Dell computer and the software loaded by them last year was telling them. This is a new telephone number for these jerks as I had 20 to 30 calls on there own number. Note 749 is not an active area code.
