They had called from another number two hours before as Apple Tech support to let me know that my iCloud client had been hacked. Which was alarming because I've never owned an iPhone or used iCloud or any apple product in my life.- Caller: Card Member Services

The message left was also sent in duplicate to my email through a proxy, but my spam filter is iron clad and I will never read or see any of it if it's not on my whitelist. Just a waste of your time. - MidNYteStormIf you have the ability to block calls from any kind of number then your best bet is to do just that. While I’d advise that for any unfamiliar number I specifically say it for this one since neither the area code or prefix are valid.

- JoeThey still call but I blocked them long ago. With my Panasonic phone I blocked ALL numbers starting with "00" so even if they slightly change the number they program to show up on my caller ID they get blocked.
