I have a few pictures but don't know how to get them out there for others to see.

He texted me after he started IMing me on yahoo and then his BS story wasn't making sense.  I questioned him then terminated all contact before it even got started, really.  He texted me (my phone # is a matter of public record) and says his name is Benard Darton and he's "British" but living in a hotel in Africa. He texted me from 924-665-02 saying "dartonbenard: I'm so so sorry."

If he only knew how truly sorry he is....BEWARE!

I've been getting messages from this number. Calling me 'cutie' and saying he won't stop replying until I answer him. It's messed up.

I'm been getting emails and phone calls from this Benard Darton too.  He found me thru yahoo personals and supposedly lives in Vegas but is currently in Africa with a sick friend.  But he is calling me from a different number...234-807-1427855.  I've been really cautious and googles his name and found this website.  He hasn't asked for anything, but he is too complimentary, so that put my guard up.
I hate scammers.

I have been talking to this person for several weeks now.  I'm told his name is Robert Harris from Georgia, now in Alaska but working in Malaysia.
Nothing rude or crude.  Very pleasant, but reading this all makes me worry.  I got my cell phone bill with this being a data text with charges my cell carrier won't take the charges off and basicly, I have to keep paying for his texts.  He told me this morning he needs to talk to me about his retirement accounts and wants me involved if we are to have a life together.  WOW...   This is the 2nd time I've been scammed...   No more dating sites for me.  I'm paying to find someone, and boy I sure do...  The ones that ask for money, cell phones, and now retirement funds...  LADIES BE WARE...   I learned the hard way...

this guy keeps texting and running upmy bills

This number is assigned to text messages from Yahoo. It is not the same person every time. I've met the person who texted me from the number; she had created her profile a few days before she started texting me, so I thought it was a fake at first.

Yes, some of the texts from this number are scams. Not all of them. Do not condemn everyone who has this number as someone who should be mistrusted.

It could be anything from a scammer to a friend of your kids'. Yahoo uses the number frequently enough that you can't be certain.

But be careful. Its all I have to say. If its about money or meeting up at any dangerous place, obviously someone not to be trusted.

i have sent texts using yahoo chat. i think all of the messages you send show up as that #. just so u know i am not the one who sends messages like any of those. those were mean rude and the vocabulary is far from being my style.

He started texting me: Do you want to know what goes on when you're not home?
and then i got : you'll be mad when you find out what goes on behind your back.
about 20 minutes after that I got a restricted phone call. I didnt answer. I wish I would have. How did this creep get my number? Do I need to have it changed?

I wish the fbi gets in this one. They will do the greatest show on this scamer.Im willing to go with all the ones scammed by him to laugh at him.He probably think no body will outsmat him..Lets suppose its the same man.i do receive text messages from#92466502 since june this year.thats all it shows on my cell. any way. i met this man on stablished man.in nov./2009 last yr.i could write a book on this guy.he is very well matter and eloquent.he is a dream heavently angel in diguize.he gave me a phone in ohio that was active but went dead any way at the time he said he was in kuala,lumpur on building contract mission funny thing he was there with his 12 yr old. bye the way he was a widow with some money.any way at first he send me flower 2 days on a roll and and presents t he was paying with a visa investment from  penn/philladelphia and yea the ohio number was on all the presents he send,here its were it getsfunny he gave me also the phone in kuala were we talked all the time at his expense but most of the time on line.but never will give me the adress in kuala.bye the way suposely his son die over there.and needed money.suposely he had money but he said his visa got cancelled by sending me presents on line from allover the world and it loked suspisios to his bank so now came the bomb he neede money i felt in dept because of the presents so yea i send some scqupticaly but saying to my self well im paying back the presnt and flowers.hesaid a5 moths he was comming back home to US to ohio he forgot he gave me and adress and pictures of him .so one day i send a mail that came back telling me not to mail to the address no more when i question him he said he moved to new york ny.and needed money for a lawyer thats fixing his situation.this layer its the cheapest lawyer 100.00 any way this time no address but a recepient peter wolfing ny ny.in kuala was emmanuel olaka ohoah. i got those phone numbers of kuala i even talk to and all lady there. i have his recording he sounds very late fifty.the handsom man that i fell for its 56 and his name is frank,but the one i talked which he claim to be him i have never seen him.I call him the invisible man he still stays in touch.I really think he believes he is the guy in the picture or at least will want to be him.bye the way the pictures he send me i found anther acct on stablish man with the same pictures and few others with allmost the same profile i did copy all that.i trully will like to see his face one day i know exactlly how he sounds.

I have been on BabyBoomers, SerniorPeopleMeet, Yahoo and Match.com and have been scammed on every one.  I am too smart to send money but they are getting more and more creative.  It is so sad that people have to do this and I am sure that some people have fallen for it.  I am lonley but not stupid and not desperate - they really suck.

He calls himself Chris Lyons and his yahoo ID is chris_lyons00@yahoo.com. He sends texts from +9.246.6502 which is through yahoo messenger. He is untraceable. He claims he chose me and he threatens to tell my family, neighbors, and employer personal things to get me isolated and fired. He also threatens to post my pic on the web along with my address and details of what kind of fun they can have with me. He researched my family, where they work, where they live, what they do even in their spare time. I don't know how he gets this information but I'm guessing through Google or blogs. He had airline tickets for me to come fly to him in Newark, NJ. Now he wants me to refund it. I said sure, just take me to court! I'd love to see who he really is. Face him in court, whip out all the printouts of harrassment, intimidation, extortion, blackmail...yep! I didn't send him any money. If a court says I have to pay him so be it. I'm sure they'll be very interested in what I have on him. He tries to come off as an intellectual. And he is pretty smart. But I'll risk everything to take this guy down. He's not nice. He's a snake. I hope he doesn't ruin anyone else but from the sounds of it he is honing his skills. It looks like he calls from Thomson Reuters (thomsonreuters.com) with the 877-393-3363 number.  Continued....

He also has a couple other numbers he uses...646.822.3545, 646 822 4663,  646 822 3484. BTW, he said he knew me from high school and that he was getting even with me. I didn't buy into that one. Anyway, I'd post my contact info but I'm scared to after what this guy has put me through. Hm, my email is destinationlaura@gmail.com. I think that's safe enough. This guy takes thing literally and twists your own words around. He's trying to make out as things I am not. He makes up things and tells them to people I know. He likes to do conference calls on Yahoo to put me on the spot. This guy is a monster and deserves to be in prison. I hope he becomes someone's prison [***]. To anyone who has this monster in their waking nightmares....good luck to you and get some help. Don't do this alone or you will be very sorry with the mind games he plays.

These are only a couple short examples of the many many texts, IMs, website email exchanges, emails, and phone calls. It started in early July 2010 and still continues even earlier today. He doesn't take NO for an answer, doesn't know the meaning of the word harrassment. I had a friend text me from Yahoo and the very last number came up as a 3 not a 2. He thought it might be due to location.

same here.  am involved in a scam now.  they sweet talk you and make promises.  he asked for money i said i did not have any.  met him on spark.com   i am done and am looking into reporting him.  have u talked with him on the phone?  any accent?
