I received a call to increase my overdraft.  The lady had all my details and wanted me to update some info before doing a "pre-approval".  She then she told me that the system is hanging and she will call me the next day.  I could'nt get through to this no. the next day.  I called the Standard bank fraud unit.  It's not one of their nos. It's a fraud. What's scares me is that she's got all my details!!!

Thes number 0113764000 belongs to Standard Bank and is only used for outgoing calls. Try the number 0860123007 and they may redirect you to the correct area or department. It relates to Tracing of payments.

I HAD A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEY SAID ITS STANDARD BANK-SOMEHOW THEY READ SOME TERM OUT CLAIMING I QAULIFIED FOR A LOAN

Do you know that if you leave your ID like this people can steal your money

This is a Credit Card Fraud Scam number.

Dude,  Why would you go and put your number on the net like that?  Do you intentionally want to put yourself out there to be scammed?

People out there be careful this number is a scam, a lady called me from this number telling me to come for an interview & to bring my IDbook ,Matric certificate & CV for a job offer.

I did also got a miss call from this number please dont phone if me at all if i need something from standard bank I will go in and see them my self

If this is indeed a scam number why hasn't Standard bank gone to the length of closing them down. According to this forum complaints about it has been around for 3years.

Ps it has to be a scam because i don't bank with standard bank and they want to increase my overdraught on my account with them

Just missed a call from same number at 14h21, tried to return call but stays engaged. Upon googling and seeing all of your comments, I called my banker at Standard Bank and this number is unknown....
