I also rec a call last month,I gave them my details,month end of april they deduct money frm my acc,after a day,some1 called me telling me they can't give me the phone,I ask for refund,she said they will refund me on the 15 april,but till today I never recv any money,this is a scam

I would like to know  about this number.. I receive a call from it, but when I reply know one
was talking to me.

The number above keeps calling but when I respond only hello and she dropped the call

How do they even know our Name and Surnames?
When u confirm on their [***] line they hang up...
Then call and call and call.
Why is it legal to sell my personal information to these people as a database??
How does signing up for a service with 1 company allow my information to be sold to whoever.
Something as simple as a movie card, woolworths or edcon accounts and my information is shared and i have to deal with years of scams and BS calls...
Theres really no law against this??
