Yes I get these calls too - same thing - as soon as I say hello, they wait 2 seconds, then hang up. Glad to find out it isn't someone I know or personal in any way. Will call that number and put a stop to it.

Yes I am with iinet voip too. I think they have on-sold our phone details to Trent Park cos I have never had anything to do with that company in my life.

I just called and told the person I wanted my number taken off their list - they said it was a computer malfunction and that "you wouldn't have received any calls today" after I just told her I had received a call - annoying but hopefully this is the way out of their harassment.

This unsolicited harrassment from all these companies, on the mobile and on the home phone is enough to drive anyone mad.

I will make sure I put my name on the govt website for "no marketing calls" when I find it.

This is a really great initiative of the Government - if you submit your numbers to this register (https://www.donotcall.gov.au/) it is then illegal by way of legislation, for these companies to continue calling you.

I kept getting calls from the same number, when I googled the number I came to this site and saw that someone thought it may be Park Trent Properties. SO I looked them up and called them, and yes it was their number that kept calling. Funnily enough the lady I spoke to was not really interested in what I had to say but took my number and said she would take me off the call list. When I asked her why this keeps happening she said it is a computer operated thing... But wasn't interested in what I had to say. So everyone who is getting these calls from these [***] should call (02)4225-2440 and complain!!!!!!!!

your not the only ones getting these calls ,i just called telstra and they couldnt help,we have a private number,where is the privacy act, i bet they dont call mr.rudds home at 11pm every bloody night,and goes for you 0242202500 the telecommunications ombudsman has been notified!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all of those people receiving harassment and nuisance calls from the caller ID 02 4220 2500. I can confirm that the number is associated with Park Trent Group of Companies. The number is the number for their switchboard. After receiving 5 calls from them in a 1hr period I was rather angry. The number I initially rang was Wollongong Office 39 Montague Street, North Wollongong NSW 2500, phone 02 4253 2503. When the call center answered I was polite and asked the girl to be put though to the manager. I was then connected to a Mr Danielle Brown and my first question to him "Is 4220 2500 your switchboard number?". When he confirmed that it was I then informed him that if I receive anymore phone calls from his organization I would have The Park Trent Group of Companies charged under the Telecommunications Act for harassment and nuisance phone calls. Since the Telecommunications Act 1997 is commonwealth, convictions under this Act is a Commonwealth Conviction.

Mr Brown also informed me that they "ParkTrent Group" get their eMarketing information from DataSolutions.

lame...and really annoying, I have actually turned my phone off because of this auto dialer. 16+ times a day is more than enough! police are useless, someone needs to track the number to the property and smack them hard with their tele headsets!

yes i have recieved nuisance calls also from 02 42202500, The operator on the phone was rude and would not answer any simple clarification of identification questions ie stalker. They are intruders in our home when they ring with out firstly letting us know who they are. Same thing applies when somebody knocks at your front door and you are inclined to ask "who it is ? ......this something you teach your kids". Intruders (arrogant pricks)

I keep getting calls from this number - they are a telemarketer or something- please make them stop :)

I was receiving regular calls that rang off every evening for three nights in a row. The final night I received call from Telstra trying to up-sell something.
Suspect Telstra do multiple rings at same time, first person to pick up gets the call. Any others just get an annoying ring off.

I just called them on 13468378and they said tehy buy the numbers form a company called "Data Solutions".  Would love to know where THEY get my number from.. my number is un listed and never given out to anyone!

This Phone / N keeps calling and  hanging up without answering between 5-6pm.. Pest as sometimes I'm outside and  have to come in to answer and this is the number that comes up on call back.

I just got call from "Unavailable 024"

Some guy with a heavy Indian or Nigerian accent was trying to get my information about my gas and electrical service telling me that he was from "The City Gas and Electricity Company"!!

Well, in the city where I am living there is no such organization and this creep was just trying to steal my info to switch to "Savings" from some dubious companies or worst,

Maybe he was going to use my identity since when one gives out any utility info, it includes name, address, phone number - what else do we need next? Have some Nigerians come to our home??

Beware of numbers beginning with 024 as they usually belongs to scammers!!
