who number is this

I have a 15 year old daughter and she got 788 messages from this number.All the messages where received between 8:00pm and 3:00am.I called At&t and they told me it was maybe some voting like american idol or somthing but they were not able to tell me where the number came from.I recommend that all parents that are having this problem get the smart limit feature from at&t or do like me, block all messaging from my daughters phone....

My daughter has been receiving text messages from this number.  70 in the last two days.  I have tried to dial the number with no luck.  ME NO HAPPY!!!!!!!!

My son received pages and pages of incoming and outgoing text messages from this number. He said he has no idea what number this is, and since I know he was with us when some of these text came in, I know this is a bogus number. We are contacting out local congressman about this scam since from all these text, the phone companies wont do anything to stop this scam! Thanks everyone for all your comments!

I've noticed pages of sent and received text from this number on my teenage daughte's phone. She says she hasn't sent or received any text from that number. They are usually very late at nignt or very early in the morning. This is really weird!!!

wow, you people need to relax.  had you called att you would have known that the number is instant messages using AIM.

This number appears because a child can log onto AIM.com and instant message.  This is unique, because you do not get charged for internet time, but obviously you do get charged for txt messages.  AT&T has a parent filtering option for 4.99 in which you can limit the number of text msgs your child sends and recieves every month. I just signed up for it.  You can also shut your childs phone off during certain times as well.  Anyways-I hope this help answer any questions.  Parents get the family txt msg plan, you are crazy not to have unlimited txt opt with children or another option have them pay for the plan if they are going to txt.

same thing is happening to our plan with my daughter's line.
We had $251 in wap charges for the last bill.  AT&T is
"investigating."  We'll see what happens.

I have been getting several text messages on my call details of my ATand T account and i don't know where it is commign from and i do not text message that number

it shows up on my bill 5/23/09. what is this and why does att do something about it.

This # appeared after my son's moto q was stolen from picnic table at Cedar Pt. Hope someone is very proud of themselves. My son is deaf and this is his only communication with family and friends. Have not yet found out what this # is though, No help from AT&T except to suspend service.

When you have a 15 year old daughter you don't relax, that number could be ANYONE!

This number 111-047-0200 appears on a bill but it does not
realy comes up on a phone itself.There is no REAL messages -only record of it.
How very convinent for phone companies !!!

I contacted AT&T about this today. They told me it was email texts through a website called www.company.com.

As soon as I added Smart Limits to my daughter's cell, this strange number has appeared as incoming and outgoing.  There are numerous times it calls and is using up minutes.  I blocked it but it still gets through.  AT&T had no idea what the number is and said it should stop if I block it, but it did not.

This number has shown up on my bill mutiple times, does anyone know what it really is?
