Boy, was this a frustrating situation to have to go through.  Welcome to technology, eh?  I don't know if this will work for others, but I am using an old Samsung G-5230 and eliminated the receipt of this number, as well as problems with an invalid (old) phone number associate with the IMEI identification for this phone (every phone has a unique IMEI number).  To do so, simply reset the phone.  You can usually find this option in your "settings" menu.

For the Samsung, this does not reset any existing stored numbers.  It will reset your wallpaper and all profiles (the important part), depending upon the options you select for RESET.  I simply picked them all to begin with due to a bout of severe frustration.  :)  Hope this helps others, as well.

this is the number that the original call from these idiots was routed to.  that original number is 304-263-5785.
Here is what I learned about this area code:  The 112 area code appears to be a invalid, it may be "spoofed".

Phone calls originating from within the 112 area code often turn out to be a telemarketer, a telephone survey or bill collector trying to disguise their real phone number.

This is not an acceptable area code with the NANP.  The North American Numbering Plan (NANP) is an integrated telephone numbering plan that encompasses 25 countries and territories primarily in North America, the Caribbean, and U.S. territories. However, not all North American countries participate in the NANP.

The NANP is a system of numbering plan areas (NPA) using telephone numbers consisting of a three-digit area code, a three-digit central office code, and a four-digit station number. Through this plan, telephone calls can be directed to particular regions of the larger NANP public switched telephone network (PSTN), where they are further routed by the local networks. The NANP is administered by the North American Numbering Plan Administration (NANPA), a service[citation needed] operated by Neustar Inc. The international calling code for the NANP is 1.

Pisses me off a lot so if anyone knows how to help me with this issue I'd be very thankful. Right now only way to send a ONE message at a time is to delete the thread and then send a one message. I get text msgs from this # when I send a text msg  - saying the msg I sent was from an incorrect # and to resend the msg.  They # they say I sent the msg to has a "11" added to the # I used.  Is this a foreign # and will I be charged if I read it and resent my msg, then got another msg from them, and so on?

Thanks for the info,  So far, no charges.  I blocked the # for future but by now there could have been 4-5 text msgs from that #.  ATT has been tied up all morning - bet this is why.
