I had this number call me last night, I didn't answer it and it's now blocked.  I googled the number and wasn't surprised to learn that it's a probable scammer.

No idea, looked at my phone just as the call ended. Googled the number as I suspected it was one of those automated PPI things/cold caller looking to sell something I don't need to me, and now the number's blocked on my phone - thank god for Truecaller!

Just Called a few moments ago didn't answer another scam caller

Just had the 1195748396 ring my ring my mobile. I didn't answer and as odd phone number checked on line. How can we stop these people?

Just noted this number had called my cell.  Did not answer.

Time wasters if they ring from unidentified withheld or strange or private numbers there call to sell you something first two words of this sentence.

I have answered this number many times now to hear a recorded message stating they have urgent news regarding my "Personal Payment Plan" (which I know nothing about) and then they tell me to press a number on my keypad to continue at which point I hang up. I have no payment plans with anything because I am living on the breadline!

I have a sim card in a spare mobile I never use, but logged the number with Paypal so I can have a more secure login (Paypal sends you a text with a pin code to enter to login), guess what, this +11 number is dialling this mobile number, so Paypal is selling my number to whomever is calling.

We all love a good conspiracy theory, but no. Paypal is not selling your number. Foreign scammers pick an area code, a prefix & then dial 0000 to 9999 & log the numbers that are active. They got you. I had a scam number call me every day for 3 weeks, I blocked the number every time. After 3 weeks they stopped calling. Problem solved.

Got a call today, they hung up
