Many calls from this unknown number. Have answered once but no response. In the last four days we've received at least 10 calls.

8 calls yesterday and already starting at 7AM today.

Called twice today, but the number had 1 at the end of it.

Muffled voice identified self as my grandson.  The first red flag was the 5-second pause between my, "Hello," and the voice on the other end.  I didn't recognize the voice.  He said he had a broken nose in an accident. Hence the muffled voice.   He was under arrest for refusing a breathalyzer.  At this point I realized it was a scam.  This is the grandparent scam as reported in the Washington Post.  I was slow to tumble because, Hey, my grandkid.

Receiving multiple calls for the last several days.  I pick up and immediately hang up.  I did call the number back once and received a recording that the number was not in service.   Another nuisance caller.

Have received many calls today from this number.  I answered once and no one there.

Received same call as Dick - grandson had been in an accident and broken his nose.  Told him I hoped he didn't bleed to death and to have a good day.
