Tells me my BB&T Account has been locked! Dont even have BB&T. I just block the numbers and delete the messages. Sounds like they try to get access to our phones. I never text them back.

Continuous texts with a link included. I used another device to see what the link was. My Norton anti virus stopped me from viewing the link. Block!!

Just got this text, contact us critical, PNC, However the last time i got this text a while back it concerned pay pal. I have never had an account with either! Scam i would assume.

Received Text from 1410100012 - stating RE AT&T account - Payment Failed - Call 970 627 7110 (MSG 0062).  Confirmed with AT&T that this is a known fraudulent SCAM.

Repeated texts with links daily regarding accounts I do not have.

Just got a text and a vm from this number saying that my debit card has been blocked and call this number: 858-964-5132/ I guess these people can't get a real job so they trying to steal. I have blocked and deleted this.

This number text me that they are ups with my package demanded I pay $2.20 for my package. They demanded for my address and date of birth,  ssn .etc

UPS would never ask for your date of birth or your Social Security number. Nor would they text or call from what is clearly a spoofed phone number. No phone number area code or prefix in North America begins with a 1 or a 0.

Another phishing text about a Chase card I don’t have. MSG: call this number 1-380-215-5163

It keeps telling me they're from Chase.  I'm trying to figure out to Block

I just got a text from the same number. It says “FRM:VisaSecurity SUBJ: Netspend VisaCardSecurity I’d MSG: Netspend Withdraw Aleer. It gives two phone numbers. I called Bank of America on what I know is their number. They said they have not communicated with me and that there is nothing wrong with my account. This is a scam message.

As has already been posted in this thread, no valid phone number in the US and Canada can have an Area Code or Exchange number (the second set of three digits) that starts with a "0" or a "1".  This number violates that rule for both its Area code and Exchange (141-010-0012).  This alone indicates that the text was sent by a scammer.

Forward unwanted spam/scam texts to 7726 (SPAM) and let your phone service provider deal with them.
That number was set up by the phone companies to combat spam texts and they can shutdown offending phone numbers.
Never reply with "STOP", scammers will not honor the request (they have no honor to begin with) and it only verifies that they have texted to a valid number and a person who reads their texts.  It will not STOP the texts and may actually make them more frequent.
Never click on a link in such a text as it may cause malware to be inserted on your phone, and even if it does not, just as with replying "STOP" the scammers will know they reached a valid number.

FRM: 1642_Fedex MSG: Due to no safe place to leave it the package no 0471663305 was returned to the warehouse! (a link to click on was included)

This phone number 141-010-0012 left a text message on my cell phone, that my Wells Fargo Debit card is blocked and to call 858-433-0566 link 0566.  I do not have a debit card.  (Previously this evening I received the same message from 141-010-0010 and 141-010-0011, different links, but same call number 858-433-0566. I reported these on this site.)  This new text will also be reported to AT&T, FCC, and FTC.
