I have lodged a complaint with ASIC. I consider the calls made by the indian person (Shaun Young....) to be harassment and distressing. I am WAY too busy with my work and personal endeavours to put up with this rubbish. There is an office at West End QLD under their title and i look forward to meeting them this afternoon.... i will post outcomes here.

I've been getting the same from them for 2 weeks now.
3 messages, spoke to him the 4th time and told him the person he was after didn't live here, 5th time today I insisted on speaking to the supervisor and I made it very clear I didn't want any more calls from them.

We have been receiving calls for the past 12 months - the caller always asks for my husband by name and says it is a private business matter.  I always refuse to give out his mobile number.  The last caller's name was allegedly James Smith.  It was interesting to find so many other people receiving calls as I have been very wary of these calls.

Have been harassed by these maggots for nearly 2 years now. Always demanding a DOB.

They ring multiple times, say they will continue ringing until they get what they want and that I cannot win by hanging up. As well as other threatening statements.

I have reported it to Telstra (who accused me of being a debt avoider) and they were totally useless in  blocking the calls or in doing searches on them. It was only last week that I got this number.

I want them to go away and stop harassing me.

Next stop is the police.......but if they are calling from India, the Australian police have no jurisdiction.

They are driving me nuts!

hi there, just thought I would let you know, I have recieved probably three or four of these calls over the past two years. I have a saved voicemail message from the last one if that is any help?

Have been getting these calls for up to 12months, not telling me any thing except that he is calling from Transpacific (and only found out this when I finally asked what company he was calling from), he wanted me to confirm my DOB like all the above and surprising was the when I asked my phone company to put a trace on line could not find any phone number of caller though when I complained to The DO NOT CALL REGISTRY (DNCR) got a letter back saying they think this is a debt collection agency and it is out of their area to deal with. How come (DNCR) can tell me this yet Telstra can not find a number to contact???

Am going to call this company soon and find out what info they have with out giving DOB? if they say they can not give any info then I will request their complaint in writing and say if you have a complaint then you will have my address (even though they can get it off the web if they use google like every thing else?). Is becoming a game where these people use harassment phone calls and not give any info that can be recorded or traced? THe only debt that I think I may  have incurred happened 5 years ago and came to an arrangement to pay off the person and that person gave me a letter saying they were happy with the arrangement and no further  Legal action would be taken.  otherwise I have no debt as well as no assets or income of note. so have nothing to loose.

Back to report on calling 1-180-021-3738,

I called this number today and asked for the person I was told to call (according to the a message left on my answering machine saying it was urgent I call according to the caller???) and got some person with an indian accent as usual who called himself “Michael Cooper”.

I did not give him any information about my self, only ask who they were ie Trans pacific and what was the nature of their business "Michael" said debt recovery, I informed him I would only do business if they posted their proposal in writing to me and would not give any sensitive information to any one over the  phone.

This person calling himself “Michael Cooper”, I gave him the reference number that I had been told to refer to, and this person then looked up the computer ? and asked me if I was  "William Rushworth"  to which I said no (this is definitely not my name), the person seemed a little embarrassed and said then was my birthday in 1961 again I said no (out by at least 12 years), he then asked me if I had ever lived in a small town "-------" again I said no as obviously they did not have any information on me at all, am not sure if they were trying to get information out of me in order to make a case ??? What ever the case this company is pathetic and possibly not genuine?

The previously  caller knew my name and addressed me by my name, Yet when I called the company they did not have a clue as to my name???
Obviously like any legal firm would have all your dealings on computer and hence only have to confirm that data. This lot did not know a thing about me?
Am sure if you take them to task and ask for any case they may have against you to be posted in writing to you (do not give them your address as if they know your phone number then obviously they must have your address????) . If they do have a case then you can talk to a lawyer and get their opinion and if not they the fear campaign they are waging is obvious.

I intend complaining to Fair Trading though will wait a week to see if they come back to me with some story and if not make an official complaint of harassment.

What ever is meant to be will be, take them on you have nothing to loose. Alan

I seen a number there so i called that and that went through to baycorp the lady there was very helpful, she gave me a number which i called and when answered it sounded like who ever answered was at a kids bday party, i hung up and redialed the number, some Indian bloke answered, when i asked him who he was and were he was from and asked if this organization was even legal he transfered me through to his supervisor some other lady Indian lady called Bridget Jones answered the phone and said there supervisor was unavailable and would call me back, asked what was the story about trading as a company that had been DE-listed and if that was legal she gave me the run about o am awaiting a call from her supervisor. Twice a month, I get a voice message on my phone looking for Mr. Ayatolah Hussini. There were times were I was able to answer the call and the same thing, they were really pushy to speak with Mr Hussini which I have no idea who on earth he is.  I have explained to them that my number is AN OFFICE ISSUED ONE, TO INCLUDE THE MOBILE PHONE, and there is no Mr Hussini in the company I work in! They surely have the wrong contact no in their database!

Today, they phoned me again -- and I told them the same thing.  It's so annoying!!!
