- MidNYteStorm replies to WolfmanJackHopefully that initial comment will be removed simply based on the fact that you shouldn't post what you claim to be your phone number.
With that said, I am moving on to more credible posts. - Sandra Sotello| 1 replyReceived a call from this number 201-224-7220 today the 9th July 2015. I answered it no one said anything want them to STOP!!

- Tamianth replies to Sandra SotelloConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

- Roe replies to Melissa HozaIt is just common sense not to post your telephone number, email address, postal address or any other personal information on a public website. The site is not responsible for what you post and does state policies. Read what Frog Protection has kindly posted concerning Terms of Service and Legal Stuff (as per 800notes).
By doing so, you open yourself up (and this also applies to any other posters who think that by posting their information, the calls, texts, emails, etc, will stop, hate to tell you this but it won't) to possibly more spam. While the majority of posters, on sites like these, post to help others identify scammers and to share their frustrations, I am sure there are those will peruse the site for their own sick reasons.
You need to be vigilant and aware. Hopefully, your post will be removed. - William replies to WolfmanJackShe did not post her information on those two websites :

MyLife is a data broker that gets its information from public sources ... so they claim ...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MyLife
MyLife (or MyLife.com) is an American Internet company founded by Jeffrey Tinsley in 2002. It provides services allowing people to see and control information that's publicly exposed about themselves or anyone. It previously conducted business under the names Reunion.com and Wink.com, providing people search services to find old friends and classmates under Reunion.com.
... and they have been sued successfully ... latest one :
In February of 2015, MyLife agreed to a court judgment under which it would pay $800,000.00 in penalties, plus $250,000.00 in refunds to customers. The company also will be subject to a permanent injunction that prohibits false advertising and unauthorized credit card charges.
The case grew out of a joint investigation by the Santa Monica City Attorney’s Office
and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Investigators found that MyLife
was tricking consumers into giving the company their personal identifying information,
and later their money, through false and misleading ads.
