This phone number appeared in my bank's credit card statement and was associated with five fraudulent charges of $35 each after my bank closed my account and notified me such charges had been detected. The citation appeared as follows:  PP*TIP TO ORHAN HAJDAR 2012412955 and was classified as "entertainment" from a merchant described as "Public Golf Courses." The purchase was made online. Fortunately, my bank reimbursed the $175 in bogus charges and issued a new card as it was quite evident my CC card number had been stolen.

same thing, got a call from bank there was suspicious activity all fraudelent charges with this number associated with each charge

Fraud on my CC also.... showing up as - PP*TIP TO JOCELYNRIDGE

Doesn't mean it can't be spoofed buddy!

This was a fraudulent charge as TiptheHaboo. My bank refunded me and I got a new cc.
