This number has called my home several times and always when I pick up there is "dead air". The last time they called, I used the code *67(caller ID Block) and called them back. The phone instantly picked up and there was a recording that said: "Push any number to be put on the do not call list". This message just kept repeating. I suspect that this is one of those "data mining" companies that ignore the law and searches for "live" phone numbers that can be sold to telemarketers.

Don't know who this is, when I picked up, they hung up.

Auto Sales was on the caller ID.... he wanted to extend my auto warranty on a car that we have that is old and out of warranty.  Wanted to know my mileage (I said I didn't know it)  I told the guy I'd take my chances and he then got rude with me.  He said ,"You have no idea what I'm talking about" and then told me he would just cancel our warranty completely.  So I told him to go ahead and then I hung up.

Caller offered to "extend the warranty" on my car.  Car is to old to even think about "extending a warranty."  Answering machine took the call.  Now blocked by Digitone telephone blocking system, along with about 30 other numbers that have disturbed us.

Get Caller ID and screen out calls from names, numbers, places you don't know.  Everyone who answers and/or calls them back just reinforces their behavior.  Call blocking may discourage them for that particular call but they use robo dialers which don't care and they keep calling as long as you encourage them to continue with their game.  Complaints to DO NOT CALL or states attorney generals, even the FCC will not help.  They have so many complaints from so many people about so many numbers, they could not do you any good even if they wanted to.  Worst you can do is respond and vent; then they know they've got a live one and they will continue........That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

The only way to get rid of these unwanted calls is to never answer calls if you don't recognize the number.
If you don't have caller ID, I highly recommend getting it!

Apparently these scam artists can use the American phone system for free. It is time to learn how the consumer can also use the system for free. I need to call family overseas and am going to start research on calling them using the same method that the scamers use. We pay millions of dollars in taxes to Federal FCC regulations and get nothing back. If no-one is paying for the number/s they are calling from ; how can it work? Once i learn how to do It i will post the results on every scam number report page i can find on the internet.

This # calls every day about 9 a.m.  I am very sick of it.  I'm just not answering any more from that # bc no one ever comes on.  How do you get rid of something like that?

Multiple calls. ID says Auto Sales. We don't answer but why do they keep calling?

We constantly receive calls from Auto Sales 201-243-3414.  Most of the time
when you pick up there is no sound.  I dial the number back, and I get a recording to press any number to be added to the Do Not Call List.  The bad
thing is they keep calling about every day.  Is there not any way to stop these stupid calls since we pay for our computer and shouldn't have to put up with these calls.

Did anyone else have their car in for service before receiving their first call from these people? I did. I wonder if there's a connection.

Another daily call from this number  and the identifier is AUTO SALES.  They are calling about our 2009 car that no longer has service .....I called back and got the prompt to put on number on a do not call.  I did this but all of our phone numbers are on the national DO NOT CALL list so how does this company call us.  Tired of it.

I don't know how many car warranty calls we get, but it's getting really annoying to say the least. You ask to be removed from their list and they just go ahead and add you to another one, grrrrr...

This is a scam operation to sell over-priced extended warranties for cars and trucks.

They are trolling the phone lines looking for a few bucks from the few who just can't say no.  This is a faked/spoofed number that just goes back to a recording that offers to allow you to put yourself on their Do Not Call List, which doesn't work (surprise, surprise!) since they are still calling me after more than two weeks.

I hope they starve to death in the dark from lack of funds.  I certainly won't be putting any of MY money in their hands.

This is the best thing to do with telemarketers, and it's kind of fun.   Remember, time is money for these guys.   So See how long you can keep them on the phone.   Tell them whatever they want to hear, without actually giving them information.   My favorite is "my wife handles that.   Can you hold for a minute and I'll go get her" .  After a few minutes, pick up and say that she's coming, she was downstairs.   My personal record was 14 minutes!   That one must have been really desperate!!
