Caller ID says BON APPETIT 201-257-4051

The man was extremely obnoxious. Tried to make a sales pitch. We had him on the speaker phone and we were trying to interrupt him to tell him we weren't interested.  He absolutely ignored us and we began to SCREAM at him to shut up but he went right on talking.  I finally screamed into the phone that this call was being recorded and he was in violation of the law. He stopped speaking at that point and we told him to put us on his DO NOT CALL list and he began to respond with some hesitation and I interrupted him and told him that he had been told and I hung up.

Received a call on my Phone's caller ID from this number. - bon appetit, (201) 257-4051
No message left.

Caller ID says ...BON - APPETIT

They are harassers, not sales-people. We don't want to buy what they are selling, yet they still call everyday.

They are not stupid -- they are STUPID !!!!!

If the person they are calling doesn't answers their hundreds of calls after, say, oh a year ... maybe, just maybe, they don't want to talk to you and buy your product.

It's called "GET A CLUE".

Somehow I started receiving Bon Appetit magazine in the mail.  Didn't really think anything of it.  I received a subscription renewal notice, to which I responded please cancel! NOT interested!  A couple of weeks later, they started calling my parents' home MULTIPLE (10-12) times a day starting around 8:00 a.m.  They leave no message, but when my parents DO answer, they insist on speaking to me (I married and moved over 3 years ago!!) My parents tell them I no longer live there and they have actually told my parents ( Yes, TOLD) that it was imperative that they give the company my phone number!!  I've NEVER ordered their magazine, nor do I wish to,  yet these people will not take NOT INTERESTED for an answer!!

Last two days received call from phone caller id says Bon Appetite supposedly from 201-257-4051. I happen to be a Bon Appetite magazine subscriber so today I answered knowing fully that this caller was almost 100percent a scam. Sure enough sales person gives sales pitch of 80percent off sub price since I am a current customer. All the while you hear the usual telemarketer background noises. I explained to gentleman that I had had a scam experience with same phone sales pitch with a fake scamming salesperson claiming to be with Saveur magazine prior and so I would not subscribe over phone sales calls but only thru mail with ligit Bon Appetite. He claimed to be ligit but I still declined.  Well GUESS WHAT!! Same as I did with Saveur, I called Bon Appetite this morning at their main subscription number listed in the back of their magazine at 800-765-9419. As I expected, same as Saveur, Bon Appetite does not solicit their subscriptions by phone. IT IS NOT THE REAL BON APPETITE.  I made her aware of the scam and the phone number and she will report it to whoever needs to know at Bon Appetite. So everyone,  it is another bunch of lying, greedy creeps trying to get your money. Ignore them or tell them off as I did the fake Saveur people. I wrote them a letter in response to a fake bill from them and let them know they were a scam and shame on them. Never heard from them again.

Got a call from this number yesterday (12/11/2015) at around 10:30 AM.  Caller ID showed "Out of area 1-201-257-4051".  Anytime I don't recognize the number, I let it roll thru to voice mail.  Whoever it was left no message.  Checked the 800Notes website here; and saw the comments about how these guys claim to be with Bon Appetit.  I happen to be a subscriber to Bon Appetit magazine; but (a) they have no reason to contact me; and (b) if they were at all legit, they would have left a voice mail message instead of just hanging up.  I don't really care who these clowns are, or what they want.  I added their number to my Call Block List; so they won't be able to get thru to me any more -- at least not with that Caller ID.

Beware!! This number is Bon Appetit, however, they are now tagging on to other calls. This number has been blocked as a robo call by my system. This is the 3rd day they have called and been blocked. Today, immediately after being blocked it rang in again as my robo call blocking system, so I answered it thinking they were checking on a number as they have in the past. No, it was Bon Appetit! They will try anyway they can to get to you. I assured them I would never be renewing my subscription!!

This number has called more than 6 times in past 2 weeks. No message left.

Said I was going to be in front of a Grand Jury or Federal Magistrate from my crimes.
I need to call 562 286 5756 to stop the actions against me.

we subscribe to Bon Appetit.  Is it really them reaching out or just a wannabe-scammer spoofing an ID and randomly dialing?
