Called me twice in 1/2 hour this evening.

Called left no message, I called back, and long voicemail message of jibberish, without any company name or info.

Official-sounding Male caller offers to collect your donation to the NJ Law Enforcement Association for needed safety equipment.

THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM and has been denounced by the State Police and other LE organizations. These groups DO NOT raise money by cold calling your home. If you receive one of these calls, its a FRAUD. The man is a Con-man. Don't be a victim.

police do no solicit mooney   they are not allowed to.when i questioned tehy disconnected immediately

This number has called a couple of times.  I answered and they wouldn't respond.  I called them back and got a voice mail to leave a message at the tone.  I left a message stating that they called my number just now and to call back or don't.  Preferably don't call back as we don't want them to.  It would be in their best interest to not call back.  So sick of people calling and trying to scam or whatever it is that they are doing.  Get a life and stop scamming people.

Nothing but silence

Male scam artist called at 8:15 pm. trying to solicit funds for some NJ law enforcement agency. Mentioned something about state police but I interrupted him and expressed my displeasure about his call so not exactly sure who he was representing.

Just got a call from this number. They hung up when machine answered.
