" 909" area code fraud scams / fake calls and texts

- here we  go  again !     same  scams ,  fake  calls ,  fake  messages and  related.....

just a  new  rash   "  coming  in"   from  the   "  909"  area  code  !!!

909-764-8574  scam said I need money for a doctor. Said they was from Indiana.

909-502-2315 added to the list. Looks like the new year didn't change anything!

I just received one from 909-502-2350, but didn't answer it.  Probably the same scam group.

Texted me about my add on craigslist. Saying he/she is out of the state but want to purchase my items. Gonna send payment by moneygram(spelled moneygramm) and will have the movers pick up items.

I wouldn't go through with that if I were you! Especially since they are "out of town" and MoneyGram is even mentioned!

Craigslist even warns about that kind of scam:

I'd not have anymore to to with this scammer, cut off all communication with with them if I were you!!

Got one from 909-963-1073.  Didn't know my non-existant eBay account had been frozen!!! LOL, phish on!
