Phoney lawsuit claim

Got called 5 times from this number. Claimed they were from the IRS.  Tried telling him how this job he had was stupid and should find a respectable job.  His plan was to be the biggest scam artist and be bigger than Bill Gates with the amount of money he had.  Do not bother answering the phone.

Ongoing scam calls (10+) leaving voice message about " this case to the local county courthouse." Ignored the calls.

Left a message about IRS lawsuit against me, then tried same thing with hidden number.

IRS scam! I called them several times to let them know of their scam,

They have called today (3) times so for stating we owe the irs money then hangs up .I am writing to the attorney general of texas kenneth paxton today

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

I’m an Enrolled Agent with the IRS (Inactive). IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.  IRS has enough administrative authority under the IRS Code and related regulations to collect all taxes lawfully due the federal government.     Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest as related to ordinary tax disputes.  Having a deficiency in taxes owed by way of audit is NOT a crime.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks or Itunes cards or similar for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.   All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

Has called me 3 times---very rude in the phone---will not tell me why he is calling me

Got called 5 times today, called back and told the guy he was a scam, admitted it!! Hung up and blocked.

Caller id came in with the same number (I'm in Seattle).  I then blocked it but still came thru with unidentified number.  Has called 6 times in less than 8 hours.

Called 4 times since yesterday.. says county court house, first time they said IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and call back at 201-299-4315...Feels like it is a Scam of some sort. I haven't returned the call...

Called with automated recording saying they were the IRS and sueing me for more information. then hung up.  I called back and said the IRS would have a 800 # she said if you don't believe me hang up and don't call back.  She then hung up. The recording said to call 201/299/5455.  I happened to have the 4314 number saved as fraud #

didn't recognize the number, didn't answer.  Left a message saying URGENT to call back, can tell it's an obvious robo-call with an automated voice leaving message, sort of like GPS leaving a message.

Recording saying they were Microsoft and my computer was gett8ng hacked,think they are the hackers!

Called twice, left msg once.  Claimed to be Microsoft, claimed I was hacked, I should "press 1" so they can fix it (hard pass!). They apologized if they reached me in error (nice twist).  So they've switched it up, at least: IRS scam last year and Microsoft hacking scam this year.  Scammers keeping things fresh.

SCAM.  I have problems with my computer and should use their help to fix them.

Called my cell phone at around 10 am, CID of "New Jersey"; number traces to a Level 3 Communications exchange from a Newark switch. Appears to be a computer security scam--claims that someone just tried to hack my Windows computer, and that their "security team" is offering to help. Does NOT specifically claim to be Microsoft. Oddly, they left a voice mail without ringing my number--there's no record of an incoming call in my phone log.

10/17/18 13:57 PDT  Don't know why, but picked up receiver and said hello even though didn't know ID.  Female voice recording says "hello, Microsoft calling", at which point I hung up.  These criminals never give up trying to defraud people.  Technology has gotten so ugly.  Have erase number and will block if they try again.

Computer message that if I am using Microsoft, then someone is trying to steal my info...please call...blah blah blah
