My wife was home when they called. This number showed up on my answering machine a couple of time before with no messages. When my wife answered a guy asked for me using my first name.

He said he was from the Xbox Magazine and wanted to talk to me. She asked him what this call is about but he would not tell... She told him to call later that day but he did not call again. I guess it could be regarding subscriptions cause I was receiving trial offer of the magazine before that.

I was getting these calls several times a day. I finally called back and asked them to remove me from their list. The company name is Dial America. I've never had business with this company. They said they removed me from the list. Will see…

Getting several calls a day. Calls at different times of the day. The caller id only shows "unknown name." They don't leave messages so I have no idea what company is it.  I am on the Do Not Call List, and I am filing a compaint against this company.

They called us today. Caller ID says Dial America. I told them that they were violating the Do Not Call Registry (which we've been on for months). They said that we have an existing business relationship with them?!?! I don't know this company and never heard of it.

They've been calling several times everyday. Called today (Sat) at 9.00am. My husband answered the call. It was some telemarketer.

He told him not to call this number ever again, and that they were violating the DCL (we are on the do not call list) and hung up.

In a few minutes the phone rang again. The same number showed up, they did not leave a message but we had this feeling that they wanted to make a statement by calling us again.

Getting these calls many times a day. When I answer the call they never respond. It is very annoying and disrespectful.

This number calls me severl times a day EVERY day.  Its driving me nuts.  They never leave a message and after doing a little research, I found this website.  I have no idea who this company is, and I think the next time they call I will give them a piece of my mind.  I am also on the Do Not Call List and have been for the last 3 or four years.  I hope no one else has the same problems I am having with them.  If it continues I will likely report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I am sick of them calling here.

Called here for third time this week. Twice left no messages on the machine and today asked for me by name when my wife answered.  But when told I was unavailable claimed I had subscriptions to some magazine of theirs.  I reported them this evening to Sate Attorney General as well as filing complaint with FBI.

    Today is the first call I have received from this number. I have recorded on paper the date of the call, the time of the call [from ID box], the phone number, the city from which the call orignated. If they continue to call I will continue to record all info. Then I will send my list to my N.C. Attorney General's office in Raleigh for follow-up. A charge of $500. [payable to me] will be made to that company for each un-wanted call I have received from that company.
    I have done this before. My NC AG office did indeed follow up. The companies I reported called  me and begged my forgiveness saying they would never call me again if I would agree to not persue collecting the money. This list included companies I had done business with and they promised and have kept that promise of not calling me ever again.
    Not collecting the money was worth it to me not to have them call, filling my ID box with hang-up call recordings or causing me to 'run' to pick up an un-wanted call.. Maybe your state's AG office will be as resourceful. Good luck.

For the past month or more I've recieved calls from this number 3 and 4 times per week. They never leave a message. I too have been on the DNC list for several years and feel this Dial America whoever they may be are in violation of the law. I'll see if the Illinois AG will be as helpful as the other State Ag's have been.

Calling trying to sell magazines for subscriptions I do not have or know of. I'm on Do Not Call list as well as being a business. I am sick of people trying up my lines for real customers.

Hang up calls received from them, repeatedly.

Got a call from them this morning. I am expecting an important call from the NY area, so I thought this might be it. Caller ID says, Hackensack, NJ. Nothing else. No message. Glad to know now I don't have to worry about catching this call.

Received a call from this service 2-28-2007.  I am recording this so I have documentation, after reviewing the information on this site.  I am also on all no call lists.  Companies get around this by saying they have a prior relationship.  Call them back tell them immediately (and record this if you can)that you are on the no call list and that this is their formal notice that if they call again they will be in violation of your states no call list and will be fined.  Contact the attorney general's office of your state, document it by filing a complaint.  Please do not back down if they do this they have violated your privacy and your request to not be bothered, they should pay for this violation and all others.  They are arrogant, dismissive and don't care if they break the law.  If everyone follows up and fills complaints they will be out of business!  Just think how wonderful that would be!

I'm mother in law of Jackie Bowen and we just received a call from this number asking for Jackie. They said they would call back later. My number is also on the National DO NOT CALL list as well as our Arkansas AG office DO NOT CALL list. I am documenting this and time as receiving this call at 9:30 on 03/01/2007. To find out who called I dialed *69 and got this number.

I'm on the National DO NOT CALL list and still I repeatedly receive calls from this number. They never leave a message on my answering machine. I usually receive two calls from them everyday.

No message on machine. Phone identified missed caller & their number. No name.

I've been getting several calls a day for the last couple of days from this number.  After reading the postings, I have to go back to the first one from Tom, with his "sample" subscription to XBox magazine.  A few months ago, I signed up for a no-obligation free six months of MovieMaker Magazine. The free issues are about to run out, and I wonder if the calls and the magazine are connected, based on what Tom said.  

They call every day, but I don't answer.  They don't leave a message.  Caller ID says they are "Dial America".  I wish they'd stop!
