In addition I tried to call the number back.  There was no ring, silence for a several minutes then a busy signal.  I think this number is most likely fake.  The origin of the calls might not be from in the US.  Also since these people are claiming that the opportunity is with google and the number is from a 201 area code that is also indicative of a scam.  Google is located in Santa Monica, CA and a call from them should be from a 310 area code.

I am tired of these NJ calls, way too often everyday, even on July 4th. 201-374-3196

They been calling me about 20 times a day....... when I answer no one is there.... They start calling about 8:05 am.. Today they been calling every 15 min.... Someone has to do something with these people. It is so annoying and more annoying no one is on the other line so I can get give them a piece of my mind.......

you can call your phone company and have them blocked.

I keep getting calls from 201-374-3196 and each time I answer there is only silence and they will hang up I dont want these calls and wish whomever these people is to quit calling my number this is pure harrassment since nobody is on the other end saying anything. I have gotten four calls from this number within two hours.

Same thing here... all day every other hour. Today I answer and give all fake info.... and speak with a bad German accent....sad part is there are people out there giving them their info

I also received phone calls several times a day from this number.  They hang up on me when I answer the phone calls.  I, too called this number back.  Option 1 was to talk to a service rep which isn't available, and option 2 was to take your number off their list.  I tried my call blocker service on my landline but that doesn't work.  They will still call back.  I just tried to call them back a little while ago and there was no ring.  Makes me wonder what they are after.  I called the FCC to complain about this but they told me to put my number on the do not call list.  After 31 days I can call the FCC to complain about the situation.  Has anyone been  successful in getting these calls to stop?

Despite the fact that I said I wasn't interested and was told they would remove my number they called again yesterday July 6th, 2010 @ 7:05pm and 8:14pm PST.  I don't think it's legal for them call that late.  I wasn't here the first time they called, when they called the second time I spoke to a woman who again told me she was going to remove my number.  I yelled at her and told her she was a liar, that I knew she wouldn't remove my number and that I was going to blast a very loud noise into the ear of every representative who calls from that company from now on.

Not sure if these are all coming from the same place, but Men's Health keeps calling my in-laws from 201-257-4061. They are on the national Do Not Call list, and these people keep calling 2-3 times a day. They only ask for my husband and when they are told he's not here, they hang up without a chance to take a message or ask what it's about. I only discovered it was Mens Health when I *69'd the last call & a recording identified them as Mens Health calling to renew the subscription. They do not give an option to stop the calls & they say they will try again later. Since all our numbers are "private" & on the DNC list, I am reporting them. This number was never given to them to contact him. Needless to say, problems w/ the magazine subscription (sending us unwanted books, automatically renewing subscriptions & not providing credit, etc.) & lack of customer service left a bad taste w/ this company so we asked to be removed from all their mailing & call lists. This was a couple years ago. Obviously, they only do as they wish.  Reporting them to the DNC website ought to teach them a lesson.

Keep calling multiple times a day and late evening, never anybody on there.

Please block these people. They called twice in 10 minutes and don't say anything.

this caller has called my number everyday for about 10 days...at least 10 times a day. Harrassing!

This number called me today July 10, 2010 at 8:08 AM, 8:28 AM, and again at 9:17 AM!!!!! What the funk??? I called it back to see who it was and a man with a sexy voice offers to put me thru to customer service if I press 1 and then says if I would like to have my number removed from their calling list press 2- I pressed 2 and just now as I am typing this they have called again at 9:36 AM!!!!

I get phone calls from these people every day all day long. They call more than one person that is why sometimes when you answer they are not there. Who ever picks up first is who they talk to. I have called and had no answer, options to have my number removed, and an automated recording saying I need to try the number at a later time. I had my number put on the do not call list and still get calls. It is a cell phone and I am registered on the national do not call list... I have not figured out how to get my number off their list so they will quit calling me... it is very anoying!!

They're after your bank account and credit card numbers.  Also the reason your call blocker doesn't work is because they're actually calling from outside of the country and the number has a pre-fix that your caller ID won't pick up so you blocked the number that showed up on your caller ID but that isn't the actual number they are calling from.

I received two more calls yesterday from another 201 number.  I believe it is from the same place.

The number was 201-467-5847.  I rec'd the calls on July 31st, 2010 @ 7:06pm PST and 8:06pm PST.  The first time I answered and there was silence then it disconnected.  The second time I didn't answer and no message was left.  I tried to call the number back and once again the phone didn't even ring, there was silence for several seconds then a busy signal.
