We are a construction company and keep receiving calls from this telephone number.  When we call back, the number is not in service.  

The do not call list doesn't work for International calls.   They are calling from The Dominican Republic and such laws do not apply.  They keep running scams to US citizens because foolish people send money.  Wire cash to a strange country for drugs, money etc.....    it's truly sad  - they sit around and laugh at the dumb fat americans.....

I have been getting phone calls from this number for several months, sometimes 3 - 5 times a day.  I do not answer phone numbers I do not know.  However, the calls are getting very old and annoying.  I want it to stop!!  Has anyone found a way to report or stop the calls?

Don't even bother, just block the number on your phone. Scam artist.

I do not answer if I do no know the number, that is what message is for. They just keep calling and I am on the Do not call list. They do not care. When you answer it shows them it is a live number and they keep calling if they do not want to leave a message then I do not care to speak to them anyway. lol

I get the same call and I have told them I don't know what they are talking about because being a Man I don't think I would have taken any... then he hangs up...

This number keeps calling. What should I do?

I have been these calls especially now  while I am at work.  The guy sounds like he is from India and his name is Jeff. He was asking for me but I your phone is breaking up but he hanged up. So I call back but the number is not in service. Where do these people get our numbers and just call us? They do not have any respect especially if the number is a governmental phone.

12/23 8:00 PST  Made a huge mistake answering .   Man with heavy accent started talking about bladder surgery.  Give me a break already!!  Have not had surgery and wouldn't  discuss it over the phone with any stranger if I had.  Do these creeps really get a response from cold calls?  

<rant> Okay, I am getting enough of these calls! Funny I just got a call from them right as I started typing this out. Here are my notes from the call "Jack...health department...medical compensation.." He asked me about a vaginal mesh procedure that I have NEVER HAD DONE! I've never had any medical procedure done, I've never been pregnant, and I have never taken any birth control they are talking about! Oh, and get this, they can't say my name right! How hard is it? JACK! Anyways.... I have been receiving these calls since at least August. It seems like they call from one number for a week, and then call from a different number the following week. I'm sorry, I know it's you! I don't want to change my number, but simply blocking the number that calls does not help! You aren't getting my credit card number, my debit card number, my social security number, NOTHING! When somebody asks nicely several times for the calls to cease, and you continue to call, that is what pushes my buttons! Has anybody successfully gotten the calls to stop? I mean, at one point in time, when you called the number back, you'd actually get through to somebody, now when you call the number is no longer in service. I think I got on somebodies nerves when they first started calling, because I would call them right back, and scream at them, hang up, and call again. Crazy? Possibly, but they have made me this way!  </rant>

Simply blocking the number will not help, because they will call from a different number a few days later. I've been dealing with these calls for months!

Best advise I can give you is to just change your phone number. As much of a hassle as it is, that is the only for sure thing to stop the calls, because they will just call you back from a different phone number.

i too am getting calls from this number several times a day, doesn't leave voicemail. i can't help but notice though that most of the people posting on this thread appear to be female and some of you say it's about birth control, which i have used. i'm sure this guy is a scam but it makes me wonder if some of our private health info has been breached somehow and they're using that to phish. just my 2 cents.

800notes should think about adding "phishing scam" to their dropdown choices on type of call.

Received a phone call from 2014575276 at 7:45 am December 25, 2013.  ON CHRISTMAS DAY! I called the phone number a got a recording that this number is disconnected.  I want to know who these people are and I want them to stop calling.  I want to know if I have any recourse for a law suite for harassment and duress.  If you are the person calling from 2014575276 and you are reading this message I want you to be advised that I legally will find a way  to make you stop bothering me and other people with your phone calls.  CHRISTMAS DAY REALLY - SHAME ON YOU!

My mother got a call from this number on Christmas day as well.... it's a shame.

I got a call today from this number.  I pretended to have a hard time understanding him with the heavy accent... lol.  I made him repeat everything 2 or three times.... he finally gave up.....    I am hoping this tactic will get him to NOT call back....  he is very impatient so, be patient, ask him to repeat and repeat.... lol    he will stop calling.

He was asking personal medical questions which you should NEVER answer on the phone...lol

got this phone # called three times in  every day. crazy. first it's on 4 am. woke me up to look who's calling. now go to black this number.

Have received three calls from these people.  They claim they are from the "State Medical Compensation Department".  The callers speak VERY broken English and when pressed for information such as where did you get my name and number, they hang up.  I asked very politely the first two times they called that my name and phone number be removed from their call lists.  The last time I received a call I threatened to call the Florida Attorney General and again the caller hung up.  

I never answer calls from unknown numbers and am glad I checked this site. Blocked the number asap.

These calls are from spoofed numbers, you just have to keep blocking them. Never, NEVER answer them because then they know it's a valid number and they will keep calling.

You can report the calls to FCC, they have a form on-line. Unfortunately there is little that can be done, except never to answer...

Received twice today. My name is Jedi and I am a male. That guy knew my name and wanted to talk to me. I told him it is me but he said he wanted to to talk "Miss Jedi" then hung up.
