This is Michael my supposed grandson calling for money

The person called my parents and said they were my son (who is in the military). The person on the phone said he was my son and he had gotten into an accident and he was in the wrong. He said his lawyer would be calling back and could he please talk to him. A second person called pretending to be a lawyer and asking my father for his credit card information to bail my son out of jail.

I answered.  There was a pause.  Then, "Gramma?".  I said, "Who are you trying to call?"  He hung up.

The caller claimed to be my grandson.  Gave a sad tale of a friend dying.  Upon further questioning, it was apparent this was NOT my grandson.  He abruptly hung up when I asked for his birthday!

I answered.  There was a pause.  Then, "Grampa?".  I said, "You got a wrong number?"  and I hung up.

Seems my grandson needs money - Told him he has a problem and his A** is going to hurt when he has to walk home .   SCAM and about 3rd time in 4 months it has been tried !

Guy called said Grandma, how you doing. I said Grandma are you kidding me. He hung up. I know it was a scam call.

I had to say hello a few times. He finally said "grandma"? I said "you've got to be kidding me". And then he hung up. Beware!

After I answered someone said "Oh hello Grandpa". I said I think you have the wrong number and they hung up. I just was reading about the grampa scam only one minute prior. So this was weird.
