Most of the time, these career placement agencies find your resume on a job board.

I used to get irritated about receiving calls from this company as well. I finally called them and got the information they were calling about. I was skeptical because the callers always had foreign sounding names, as they are based out of India.  I came to find out that they are a good company finding jobs for people out of work!  I found a great temporary job here in Pennsylvania and most of my co-workers got their job through US Tech Solutions. If you need a job, accept their call.

They use the popular ruse of calling hopeful job applicants and scamming them out of pre-employment info.  Hand your info to a live human being.  Never give it out over the phone/internet.

It IS common practice for a recruiting firm to ask for your birthdate and SS#, when you fill out their form. IT is NOT, if you are contacted anonymously/unsolicited by phone or email. Big difference.

They aren't trying to sell anything. They are IT recruiters.
If you don't know, you shouldn't make things up.

This is FALSE. A lot of IT Recruiters use the month and day of your birthday along with the last 4 of your social as the keyword in their database. I get it all the time. THey don't ask for the entire number until the are ready to offer you a job. This is a regular thing, and this company is US Tech, and they were actually offering me a job.

This is an IT Recruiting Company, named US Tech. This is a legitimate call. I bet you have IT experience. They called to offer me a job, but Mr. Number blocked it. It is LEGITIMATE for a Company to ask your month and day of birth, and the last 4 of your SSN, this is a keyword in an IT Candidate Database, and is VERY COMMON. This is a call you should take, if you need an IT job.

I'm pretty sure this is a scam. I had like 100 calls from those Indian ones, they claim they have job vacancies, while they are lying. All they want to make sure of, you are a citizen or not yet, if they knew your are a citizen, then the next step is another call by another Indian one for the Tax Scam.

It is very annoying and I'm thinking of taking it to the news.  It's hard enough trying to find a decent job without scammers trying to complicate your life even more!

I was contacted by Shiva Rai at the NJ office. After I sent my resume they never contacted me again. They even said they wanted to schedule a phone interview. I emailed twice, left a VM and tried calling several times and no one answers the phone. I called the CA office and a lady name Jenny Parker answered the phone. I requested to speak with a manager and you could tell it was someone telling another person the reason of my call. They are deceptive, shady and I hope this people do not use my email or name for any purpose.
Suffering from identity theft with these people if very possible...NEVER GIVE your full address or SS# or anything they can use.
I requested my email and all contact be removed from their databases. I will contact FCC if they don't do it. BE AWARE that these people are not who they say they are!
