Got a phone call from an out-of-state number
that I don't "know" or recognize.  
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)  

I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints 
AND to
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.  
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)

I am on the do not call list and don't understand why this number is allowed access to my phone number.  Do not call me!

Card member services has called a zillion times from L.A to NJ using many, many, many different phone numbers. I don't know if it's bait and switch or an out right scam, but if they we're legit they would leave a message and the caller I.D would show a true business name and not some obscure city.  Next time they call, I'm going to tell them that they've been reported.

ive gotten about 3 of these calls within the past 2 hours.. So irritating

Just got called, didn't answer. Something about credit and lower interest rates. I actually think it is collection agency....my number is tied to someone who has defaulted on some loans.

If you have a modem in your computer with caller id...download phonetray 1.39 free app...install it and add numbers to the privacy manager list...set it to "zap call" and "auto" with one ring. The app will disconnect the caller on the 1st ring. You will never be annoyed again. If your modem has voice you can set it to output a list of messages. Call me numerous times a week, both at home, and on my business cell.  I have asked several times to be removed from their list.  This morning when they called my business cell I hit the option to talk with a representative.  I was in the middle of asking to be removed from the list again when they just hung up on me.  

I filed a complaint with the national do not call registry.  Please do likewise, this is obviously a scumbag company that deserves to be fined out of existance.

harassing phone call from ???? Phishing or Scam???

I got a call from this number also.  I called it back and it says the number is disconnected or no longer in service.

This number has called several times and never left a message..Just called again...I wonder how many people have actually fallen for their scam!!

this number has called my house repeatly and even my cell phone..do not answer..i am also on a NO CALL list..hate this ..as they call all hours.......

These are NOT cold callers.  They are SCAMMERS calling Illegally.   You can't stop them any more than you can stop getting mugged!

Did not answer...If we could only bill them for our cell phone usage...

Another call about "your credit card" without ever specifying which card.  Same message, different numbers weekly.  I am on do not call lists and still get these.  When I have pressed 1 to speak to someone in the past and asked to be taken off the list, I get hangups or rudeness.

Nothing new, the same stuff as usual, an "unknown" caller calling at any hour they feel the need to and not leaving a message. Tired of the scamming calls.

This number has been hitting my cell phone and when it rolls to voice mail it's a partial message.  Today I decided to answer.  The automated attendant said to hit "2" to speak with a representative to lower my credit card interest rates or "3" to stop further attempts to reach me.  I decided to get someone on the phone.  When the lady answered the phone she said, "You responded because you want to lower your credit card interest rates, right?"  I asked what company that she is with and she said it was Associated Card Services which offers help in lowering high credit card interest rates (of which I have none).  So, I asked how she got my number, particularly since I'm on the national Do Not Call Registry.  She hung up on me.  This is clearly a scam of some sort. Can you imagine if someone gave them their card information to lower interest rates?  I just get the feeling that they would keep a ligh interest rate and find some new interesting charges. They need to be shut down and prosecuted.

I am on the do not call list and still keep getting calls from these people--enough
