- DG replies to Selena| 5 repliesBuy a Panasonic phone - KX-TG243c (Its worth the $99+ @Costco) Then you can block any caller you want yourself (w or w/o an ID number.) Still rings once then shuts down but well worth it. Your telephone provider likely wont or cant do it for you. At least will give you the pleasure of screwing them as I who gets about 20 To 30 of these unwanted calls per month from all parts of the US and Canada. Maybe they'll get pissed off and eventually go away. Unlikely the DNL will work for you, just invite MORE UNWANTED OR SCAM CALLS. Had three calls from 201-676-4166 today already between 9:14 to 11.37 a.m.
Have fun getting back at them!!! - DG replies to SelenaWhile replying to you I just got another (BLOCKED) call from 207-676-4166

- yef replies to Anonym| 1 replyNot sure about that model but another poster on this site has recommended a Panasonic model KX-TG6841b that is supposed to block up to 250 numbers. I haven't bought one myself (yet) but am looking into it.
- Anonym replies to yefThanx. Will check this one out.

- GeorgeBasta*ds keep calling every day now around the same time, 10:30 or 11am MDT. No message ever left and if I do pick up I just hear "beep beep" before the line hangs up. I wish they would just stop it.
- MrsMy LG Eclypse also has a "reject" list under call settings that hangs up on any number I place there. It is super helpful and I wish I'd found it sooner!! Getting loads of calls from this number.
- HaliGetting at least 2 calls a day from this number. When I answered once, the guy asked for my husband by his first name.......wouldn't tell me why he was calling
- Lori WaltonI received 3 calls in the last two days from 201-676-4166. My husband answers then they ask for me by name. As soon as I pick up the phone and say hello, they hang up. I have blocked their number. Curiosity made me look the number up on the internet.
- GeorgeHave called me repeatedly and they kept hanging up. Finally today someone answered (knew it was a scam but was curious to see which). They said they were from Publisher's Clearing House and that my name had been entered into a draw for $25,000. She then congratulated me and asked me if I had a visa or MasterCard, saying I needed a card to claim a prize if I won. I said I had neither. She sounded stunned I had neither then said it was fine if the visa or MasterCard symbol was on my debit card because they could use that instead. I said I didn't have that either to which she replied "You don't?!!!!" In a tone that implied I was from another planet. She got quite curt and kind of rude after that and told me abruptly to make sure that I "refused the prize" if I won. I told her I would do just that. She then abruptly ended the call, no goodbye, nothing. Guess she didn't get what she wanted from me. Unfortunately for her I have a job where I deal with b.s. for a living. Can spot a scam a hundred miles away. Get a real job lady. I feel sorry for you, that you don't have what it takes to make an honest living.

- katiethey call like 30 times a week wish they would just stop
- Linda S.This number has repeatedly been calling me at my home phone number, I would say about 5 times this week in total. I clearly remember one day where they had called me twice, they called me yesterday, and JUST now this morning, where I finally answered and rudely said,' WHO is this, and why are you consistently calling me??!' A woman's voice answered saying, 'Well, we probably have been calling you because you have won a Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes worth $25,000...', and then proceeded to go on about credit cards, and I said, 'no....no....- this is a SCAM.' And she tried to object, saying, 'it is NOT a scam, maam...' as I hung up. I also had rudely answered this call the day before, saying, 'WHY are you calling my number??!' but the person had hung up before I could fully tell them off.
I have never entered a Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes, and of course as soon as they mention the word 'credit card' you know it is just another scam artist trying to get money out of you. I would hope now that I have answered in a clearly angry tone that they will now take my number off their damn list and leave me alone.
Incidentally, I AM registered with the 'Do Not Call' registry list also, and have been for at least a few years. I'm furious that my number has somehow been obtained by this and other telemarketers and scam companies that keep bothering me, and ignoring their calls doesn't even make a bit of difference! I have blocked a total of 32 numbers through SHAW, and am not able to even add any more to my blocked call list, as it is now completely full. I even called them to complain about this problem, and there's nothing I can do- only hope the young guy I talked to, as he said, will take my suggestion to please allow their customers to be able to add more numbers to their blocked list- at least 50! - Very annoyed MarinaThis number is driving me crazy.,,,,, 6 times in the last two hours!!

- B SmithReceived a call this morning...said they were from a "Publisher's Clearing House" and they were checking on how I liked my recent magazine order (which I haven't yet received). They knew which magazine I had just ordered and had my name, address and telephone number. Said I was also being sent a diamond watch and free magazines for 2 years. She then tried to get me to buy extra magazines at a discounted price for 3 years. I said "no" to that offer and she seem to accept that. Then she told me she was transferring me to her supervisor so I could provide feedback on her presentation (because she was new at the job). The supervisor told me about the watch and free magazines, but when I said I didn't want to purchase any further magazines, she said she didn't understand...that they were a magazine company and were looking for sales. I said I didn't want to purchase any further magazines. She questioned me again but I said I wasn't willing to pay for any more magazines. Will be interesting to see if I get the watch and free magazines that were promised first.
