Received 4 call from this line. Possible phishing scheme as they want to confirm employee information. Caller had thick Indian accent. Didn't give them any information since I'm not going to just give any random person any information without verification.

Thick Indian accent, apparently from a security company called Sophos. Not sure if telemarketer.

After my usual business greeting, caller asked for co-worker by full name and title.  He said his name is Jeff and he is calling from Mark Space Media.  I asked for his last name, but it was hard to understand him due to his thick accent.  He patiently spelled it which, surprisingly, was Hispanic;  I had anticipated an exotic Asian surname.  He lost it when I asked for the address. That's usually where most telemarketers hang up on me!   It's so much fun to answer their questions with questions of my own (full name, company name, address, call back number, spelling, can they repeat info, etc., etc., etc.).   I LOVE IT!  My supervisors sits within earshot of me and she gets the biggest kick out of the way I handle nuisance calls....LIKE A BOSS!  800notes is incredible, I wish I had discovered this website from the beginning....when was that, 2007??

Just had call on company line.  Could not understand name.  Heavy accent.  Said with avelara.  I said never heard of that.  He said I will tell you.   Said help businesses with tax compliance.  I said don't need to talk with me about that.  Talk to tax group in Dallas.   He said no no no I need to talk to you.  I said no you don't and bye and hung up.  No call back yet.

Had this phone number call me multiple times in the past week. Sometimes 2-3 times a day but will not leave a message. I eventually had to block the number because they wouldn't stop calling and I don't pick up unless I know the number or they leave a message. Number is on some kind of dialing program for sure.

Got a call from this number today, man with a heavy Indian accent. He verified my name and position, said something about wanting to send me a document on taxes. Told him I was not interested and hung up.

Monday and Wednesday called 3 times each day for MarkSpace and today for NetAd.  Same number, same guy, different names each time and now a different company.  I told him to quit wasting his time calling me.  I'm not giving any information or transferring him through.

Another annoying tele-marketing call

Same woman with accent on a bad line has phoned repeatedly for the last ten days, wanting to send information to the same IT manager.  She's received the same answer each time, but today, I made myself VERY clear regarding the nature of her call and the procedure to follow.  Think she'll take the hint?

One of our clients reported a call from this number using NAVEX Global's 2017 Hotline Benchmarking Data and requested confirmation of certain employees' information.  The caller apparently had a very thick Indian accent. This number is NOT AUTHORIZED to represent any products or services of NAVEX Global.  This is a phishing scam.  Hang up and report to NAVEX Global.

A man with a slight Indian accent called my office from this number and after I did my usual greeting he asked to speak with an Amy something? It was a very specific first and last name, but I couldn't understand what he said. That was all he said. He didn't say his name or where he was calling from. I told him there was no one here by that name. He just oh okay and I hung up.
Then immediately after I see the number pop back up on my screen. So I just rejected the call thinking he thought he dialed the wrong number the first time and was trying back. After I forwarded he call to voicemail, he immediately called back again. So I answered with my usual greeting. He again asked for this Amy person as though we literally had not just spoken two minutes prior. I said "Like I said before, there's no one here by that name so you have the wrong number." Then just hung up. He calls back AGAIN right after. I answered and just said "Look. I told you that you have the wrong number. Please stop calling." Then he hung up this time. I'm not waiting to see if he'll try again. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Keep calling my work place to confirm employment, hang up when you ask who it is, Indian accent.

Called business main phone number. Let it go to VM - no message.

This lady with accent has called several times asking for person by name and by title.  I tell titles aren't provided to the switchboard, she still repeats the title.  I do not forward the calls.

just received a phone call from this number at my office! a lady trying to sell me vision insurance! Caller ID said TACLPC number 201-773-1100

Mark Smith, a middle eastern accent, asking for our Accts Pybl saying it regarding Taxes.  When pressed for further info, he said the call is expected.  But it wasn't and we disconnected.

Received a call on my direct line wanting to confirm my email and position.  Very thick accent.  When I asked what this was for, I couldn't understand what he said, something about he would send me something that I needed via email.  Told him I wasn't interested and he said something else that I couldn't understand.  Again told him I wasn't interested and disconnected.

Woman, said her name was Laura and she was calling from RepuGen. I told her the doc she wanted to talk to was on a call. She asked if she could call back in 30 and when I said we had a new patient coming in she said she'd call back in an hour instead. Not the first time she's called.

There always calling asking for vp's in the company or other employees and when you tell them there not coming up in the directory they say the name again the title i tell them there not in the directory there so annoying!!!!! They call everyday

Man with accent wanted to speak with a specific IT manager in order to send him "an important document."  I said the person didn't accept such calls, because they were considered solicitations, and transferred him to Purchasing.  Received similar call from 657-202-6415 nearly two hours ago.
