Since early january, I have been getting at least one call a day from this number. It rings 2-3 times, then stops. One time I called back and left a message for them to stop calling me. But they still do.

For what its worth, when I did get someone on the phone and told them to put me on their Do Not Call list they are no longer calling me.  I have no doubts my number will be sold to other telemarketers but none could be half as annoying as this one.

Just pick up the phone but don't say hello.  They'll start talking if they're on the line, then tell them to put you on their DNC list.  It takes many many answers though before someone is there, as it usually just disconnects.  No telemarketer checks their voicemail so no sense calling them back.

Started calling me yesterday 01/12/09 and keep calling over and over up to 6 or so time a day.

Called at 9:30 a.m. didn't leave message, didn't answer either.

Now they're calling more often. I see it on caller ID, then just hit answer, then hangup. Jerks.

I have been getting calls from this number all day- they try to call every few hours! Once I answered, no response than it just continues! Very frustrating.

my credit card number was stolen and charges started yesterday.  i have been receiving calls all day from random online retailers asking for confirmation of purchase orders.  then i received this call just now (they hung up when i answered) and am not shocked that so many others have been affected.

called the number back the first time and it gave me an option to place myself in the "do not call list" or talk to a customer rep.  i went for the customer rep and held for about 10 minutes to get nobody.  then i called back and now every time it just says "extension 689", leave a message, etc. etc.

yes they call me everyday about 4-5 times and sometimes 2-5 and hang up or i will agree with them and they are all like happy can we have our manager or instuctor call u sure and when they do i hing them a new BUTT HOLE...............

I have been receiving phone calls from this number 201-918-4828 and when I pick the phone, there is a hang up. It has started today, 1-19-09. The calls are coming 2 1/2 hours apart. It is annoying. I have left a message on the answer machine to not to call.

I called it back once and got a voicemail...i called ti back a second time and got someone asking if i wanted an extension press 1, if i wanted to place my number on a do not call list press 2...i did it, hopefully it works

Leads are generated by responding to web adverts.  This is what happens when you respond to web adverts for free [***] and don't press the 35 "no thanks" buttons.  You MUST click no thanks buttons, or else you'll be bombarded with calls and junk mail.  There is an optout on this number by calling it back by pressing option two.  Also sometimes there is no specifific option to optout, like CI institue.  For CI press option one to speak with somebody, they will take you off their call list.

I just started receiving calls from this # today 1-21-09.  Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer.  First call was @ 3:12, 4:25, 5:30 and 5:42.  I never once answered it.  It is now 7:18, and I have not received another call from this #.....yet!  I went online to Google and put the number in and read all the other complaints....
