ok folks, try doing this: (as advised by the Jersey City District Attorney's Office:)
Call 201-547-5379 Jersey City Police Investigations Division.  Tell them you recieved a Call you believe to be from soomeone trying to scam you, then give them the Phon #. Tell the Police Wher your calling from (ie: Boston, Ma. or where ever your from). Let the Police know your conserned about the elderly and Handicapped being scammed in THIER area. They will investigate.

i've received 2 calls this morning from this number. the first time was at 8:30am and the second time was 9:30am. when i answered the phone they were asking me about government grants.

I have been receiving calls from this number all week and this morning they started right before 8am.  I am really getting tired of this crap.

The phone rings twice and then hangs up.  I tried to answer it but there wasn't anybody on the other end.

I too recieved two missed calls on my cell - each within 10 minutes of each other.  I called the number back from my cell and I was prompted to enter my cellular nubmer if I wished to be placed on their do not call list.  I Did.  HOEPFULLY it works.

I receive a call useing this number 1-201-918 4831 from jersycity nj saying I can have a Grant up $60,000. She said it is free. The package will be sent and I pay the postage that all. I do not pay anything eles
she wanted my card number. Inorder for me to pay postage. I did not know it was scam. I will see if it is a scam.  The phone number dose not match the list on the page back. I was off guard and did not know it is a scam

Asked for a person that is known to me but does not have the use of my number. When told that that person does not live here they disconnected.

repetitive calls, leaves no message. When you dial them back, nobody answers.

I started receiving calls from this number this past week. They call all the time. Sometimes they call many times in an hour. I haven't answer their call. I don't take calls from people I don't know. They can leave a voice message. They left one voice message but nothing on it. I called the number back and choice the option to be place on a do not called list.

We are constantly getting calls from this number, no one will answer if you pick up and they leave no messages I tried to register a complaint with the national do not call registry and it wont take the date is there any way other than contacting the fcc to stop these idiots.

I just recieved three calls this morning. I just called them back and they have now added an automated respond and if you go through it there is an option, number 2, where you can delete you number off of there list. It takes 2 seconds and the annoyance is gone. You may have to wait a few minutes to get to the automated response.

This # calls me at all hours.......I knew it was a telemarketer or some kind of a scam.....now I am glad I DON'T answer them......will report it as I am on the NO CALL LIST.

They call ALL hours of the day & night. When I answer, they hang up. I am on the national do not call list. I will report them.

I received the same call and while i was shutting off my phone I accidently pressed speaker on and the strange part is whoever called kept saying
"hello charlene?" they knew my name!
I thought maybe I knew this person so first I looked up the area code online and it said Jersey..
Then I called back and it went to an extention
It's very strange how they knew my name, I dont give my number to online 3rd parties.

Today, I got a call from this number 20 times, that 's right, what do they want from me...

Constant calls from this number ... they know my full name and address ... they say I applied for a government grant ... I said, I did not ... they continue insisting and asking if this is my name and address as to say that I must have applied and I just forgot. I called the number a few times, it always answers as "customer service". There must be a way to stop this, I am getting tired of it. They called again early this morning. Yesterday they called three times.

This number has called repeatedly, a total of 35 times in 8 hours. It appears that they attempt to capture info when you visit various websites for acai berry or gov grants. I had filled in info on website http://www.trypureacaiberry.net then noticed the fine print that signaled a scam so I immediately closed the browser b4 hitting the submit button. To late, they had already captured the information to start the harrassment calls. So I figure if they can harrass me why not reverse it by going to that website and enter colorful names, location and phone number of 201-918-4831, maybe they will get the message and stop calling, especially if enough of us do that. But beware that they may be using a reverse IP lookup which I really doubt.

Calls from 201-917-1787..201-918-4831  3-5 times a day with NO answer or response,Very upseting wasting my minutes. No way to restrict this phone call
