they call all the time and no one ever answers when we pick up

For weeks now I have been getting calls from this number. Initially it was occasional, then several calls early evening...now it is all day and ALL NIGHT long. Calls occur at least once an hour and more often than not every 15-20 minutes. No idea what I did to "deserve" this....but there really should be something that can be done about it aside from just complaining here. When I researched it under a free reverse phone number look up, it just shows originating in New Jersey. I am not financially able to pay (which is required) for additional or more specific information or to continuously attempt to call this number back. Yeah, this is totally rediculous tho !!

I've been getting the calls every 1/2 all day long...14 times today alone.

Keep getting calls from this number as early as 5 IN THE MORNING. Rings three times and hangs up. 18 phone calls from 6pm yesterday and they've called 5 times today.

After 3 days of getting called every half hour, finally went to the FCC consumer complaints site:  http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Important thing is to record when they call you, date and time and if you actually reach a human there tell them they're required to put you on do not call list.

The fcc complaint is web-based and includes option for calls where the line is dead. Seems to be important to have caller-id so you can be sure where it's coming from.

After filing 3 complaints (1 complaint per day) they finally stopped.

this number (1-201-918-4986) is a company that would like to help you to make money online.  So if "you" filled anything online that you "had" an intrest in ( as in makeing money online ) that would be them.  This is a funny thing tho'  if your caller ID has the number on it but has the "1" before the area code its there operator but if its just the "201" area code ya your gonna get and answering machine or just get "hang-up" tone.  Before I talked to the operator person I told her that I already put myself on the DNC list and they said ok but didnt work as they called and I talk to her personaly.  I made sure that they would never call me again. So far its been 4 hrs and they never called back like they do every 30 min

Same problem as all of you guys.Every time I answer I told them to not call me anymore,cause I m not interested in anything they offering. As soon as I said that,they don't call me that same day,but tomorrow is the same story.
Can anybody solve this problem or have some solution?

Calls every evening between 6 and 9 pm every 20-30 minutes; only rings 2-3 times, no message left on ans machine. Someone who has spoken to them:
Who are they?  You're not leaving useful info.  I'm calling our phone company about harassment on Monday. But i like the idea of getting money for their continued harassment.

Go to www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint if your phone number isn't registered the register. You will have to wait several days before you can file the complaint if your phone number isn't already registered.
