This number called me 3 times yesterday and once so far this AM (10:00).  I have called ID ad don't answer but I am also listed on the government site "Do Not call" which seems to be useless

Lately I'm getting fraud numbers going to be the federal government

He called me a few minutes ago. I answer all unknown calls by saying, "Hello. You're on a recorded line." They ALWAYS hang up when you say that. There are a lot of free call recorder apps. They are very helpful when reporting these calls to the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov

What possible thought process suggested that we called you,  your caller reads your posts here, or your post will effectively stop calls to you?

These guys have been calling me for days claiming to be a David from the us treasury department saying I won a grant for 9k and to verify my info they will send  the money. I had enough today and told the Indian speaking guys so clearly not state side, that I'm not an idiot and I know he doesn't work for the treasury and I am reporting him to the police. He hung up real quick!

These people keep calling me.  They will not leave a message. After 2 days of them calling, I decided to let my Egyptian nephew answer the call. He spoke to them in Arabic....it was the funniest thing ever. I only decided to let him answer the call after  I read the posts on here. Even after he told them to stop calling, where they could go, how they could get there and what to do once there, these idiots had the nerve to call back today.  I guess once was not enough for them......

They said that this "is a once in a lifetime opportunity from the us government" that i could "get cash through my banking account or in hand". TBH I could barely understand them the call quality was so poor. The phone # itself is obviously a scam. A warning for anyone who thinks they are receiving a scam call; NEVER say the word "yes"! If they say your name, say "this is he/she". If they ask if you understand or the sort, say "go on". They can record your voice and have you agree to things you never agreed to!

called from this number and it came up as Egypt. I dont know anyone in that country. I didnt answer it because if i dont know the number, i dont answer. SCAMMERS will call non stop from different numbers. NO call list doesnt work at all because i have my number listed the do not call registry and folks keep calling all hours of the day and night. Redicoulous.
