I received a call from 1-214-884-5031 saying I received a grant from Federal Government and I was required to call
Western Union headquarters at 202-239-1045 with a payment of $185.00 to get my grant of $8,000.00. When I called the number, John Anderson answered. He told me to buy a prepaid voucher for $185.00 from CVS and call him.

Ok Price is Right it is!
Just go to Western Union and wire the $600 show biz fee to Bob Barker and I guarantee you a spot in the "Show Case Show Down" :)

Apparently the "usa gov" isn't doing that great, because they haven't put enough squeeze on your government to throw you in the pokey!

Seriously, why do they come in here?  I've got a better chance of selling Omaha steaks at a vegan convention.

Tell 'em to put their "grants" money on a Green Dot card, and you'll give THEM the transfer instructions when they do.  Then you can tell 'em that once YOU receive YOUR money, you'll pay their "fee".  When they balk, just say "now now....you want me to trust YOU, so why don't you trust ME?".

That would be a nice turning of the tables.

So this number 202-239-1045 calls me say he is from the IRS with a thick accent sounded from India. the Phone number listed D.C. and the male caller said he was from the IRS and that there was a problem with my record. He asked for my name
but and info but when he said he was from the IRS, I remembered hearing about a scam like this. The IRS doesn't call you- they send you a letter or knock on your door. He could not tell me my name but he had my file? I kept asking who he was calling for he got aggravated the threatens me and hung up. I immediately called back and got an elderly lady's voice mail. he then called on top of that as I started to leave a message.

Don't be fooled by the liars messages because they are in the same group with those scammers. I received several calls from this number and when I finally answered , it was very harassing up to the point someone named Jack Smith told me that in 48 hours I will be haunted by the police , jailed,  and all my property will be given away if I don't pay the money I owe IRS from 5 years ago.  SCAM😀😀😀😀😀.

got call today said he was IRS  and that I owe $1795 dollars in back taxes but wanted me to put money on cash card then call him back with card number I told him he was stupit that IRS don't work that way I then hung up the phone
