caller claimed to be working working for the irs saying there was a lawsuit against me. i returned the call asking for the callers federal id # and he could not answer it..I said your a spam caller and hung up.

Returned a cellphone call from this number after they did not leave a message. Man with Indian accent stated they were IRS. Asked for my name. I told them they should already know my name since they called me and if they wanted to contact me to do it by US Mail because I knew they were a SCAM!

i just submitted my taxes 2 days ago and i have been getting spam calls now with this number about an IRS lawsuit against me. SPAM!

I got the same call. I hope by now everyone knows the IRS does not call and leave messages that there is a lawsuit against you or anything else for that matter via telephone messages. It just does not happen. Don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize and delete stupid messages like this.

This is an IRS Scammer.  Don't be fooled and call them back.  IRS will never call.

Keeps calling and saying that IRS is going to sue me, I file taxes every year so there is no reason for an agent named Desmond Tyler with an India accent to be harassing me every year he calls around tax season threatening me with the IRS. Please remove this caller from making any scam calls to me or anyone else.

received a phone call from this number claiming the same as the people above.

It's an IRS scam talking about a law suit against you. Last time they called, I asked if they stopped sending out mail, the guy became flustered and asked for my address again (I said it really fast knowing I hadn't received any mail about this "law suit" - it sounded fishy). I told him they should have all my information on file, he said they didn't (massive red flag). I told him that I already have a payment plan set up so it's weird I haven't gotten more than that paperwork that in the mail. He became flustered again. I finely hung up.

I to got same vm i called..  Said irs i owe money...wanted my info i said no...u have it u called me....i said my phone showed fraud alert ....the guy hung up

Yep, same "IRS" call from CID "WASHINGTON DC".  Although they do want you to call back on this number, and apparently people above have, so they ought to be easy to find...

A man w a Indian accent called me. Loud background noises like a telemarketer call center. Claimed there was a lawsuit. He gave me my case # & said his name was Federal Agent Adam Spencer. That there was a lawsuit cuz I didn’t pay my taxes from 2012-2016 (which I hadn’t worked). That I owed $2,589. in back taxes & this was their final attempt to get ahold of me. He kept asking the same questions & I kept answering the same & getting frustrated w him. He said to calm down & I shouldn’t act like that on a recorded line. Then he was gonna transfer me. I said good, hopefully you transfer me to someone that understands , no that wasn’t me. He also said I had to convince the other guy it wasn’t me. The new guy got on & asked what I wanted. I said you guys called me. My fiancé took the phone & asked what was going on. The guy goes “Who the hè!! are you?” He said I’m her husband. You guys are trying to scam her. The guy started cussing at him saying suck my ****, I’m gonna go f*** your sister & your mom you sob. Then the guy hung up.

Never answered, but they called over 5 times in the span of 3 hours.

These clowns left messages for my mom. We know it's a scam, but I like to screw with scammers, so I tried to call them back. Got a message that said "the Magic Jack customer you are trying to reach is unavailable."
