Call received on cell phone.  Number not recognized.  Did not answer.  No message left.

When I answer there is no one there.  Then a voice says "Good bye".   I called the number and the recording says that it is not a working number.   Very annoying.

I always answer my phone only because I am looking for a job and believe it or not I get a lot of calls from employment agency/recruiters for positions in this area. Not sure it is a lot less expensive to use an agency out of the area but most of them seem to be legit. Today when I answered was a little different the guy on the other end of the phone was claiming to be from the U.S. government medical dept and was asking me about prior surgeries I had done in the past gall bladder C section etc when I told him he said the surgery Iodine a had did not qualify nut  that if I wanted he could help me he proceeded to give me all the answers I would need to answer when the next person called me I never even had A pelvic sling surgery this guy was telling me I was going to receive $20,000 from the mfgr and that they were trying to make this happen. Sorry sir I have been screwed over way to many Times in my life and have a hard time trusting people.This just sounds FISHY!!!!

Someone keeps calling my cell phone from this number.  I do NOT answer calls that I do not recognize.

They said they were from the IRS investigating fraud and an arrest warrant was being issued. It was a computer voice.

I received the exact phone call you did...I reported the call to phishing@irs.gov. I record all of my calls, so I sent them the recording...robovoice and all!

They said they were calling about an arrest warrant. Totally fraud.
If it had been actual person I'd have told them to send the cops right over like I did the last time someone tried to pull that [***].
Just ignore their fake calls.

Call from 2022410000 I don't answer unknown numbers so they left vm. Says they are IRS and I've tried to commit a fraud and arrest warrant has been issued.

Got a call today saying they were going to put out an arrest warrant for me but never say my name, they say they are going by my name.  It was a recording and I am tired of it.

I answered the call and it was a recording that said they were from the IRS investigating fraud and an arrest warrant was being issued. It did not mention my name at all!

Of course they won't, the calls are directed for whoever answers or hears the message. These crooks likely have no idea who you even are. If you've got a minor answering, they'll threaten them as well.

At 3:08 a.m. We got a call in a female digital recording saying it was the IRS and they were filing a case with the court for fraud against us. I called the number back and it said it was not in service. The message was so fast that I could not write the number down to return their call. They scared the hell out of us.

They must have called you right before they called me! Its such bs

Got a recorded call this morning saying that they were calling from the IRS stating that they were investigating fraud and they were going to issue an arrest warrant.  They left a call back number for some person, but I couldn't understand the recording, it was too fast.  The call back number was 1-202-241-8019, and even then it won't let you leave a message.  Both callers had an oriental accent.  The number 1-202-241-0000 is not a working number, but they called from it.
