getting calls that it is an IRS number and threatening arrests for non payment of taxes.  Definitely appears to be scam as IRS will not make such calls

This is a well known IRS scam perpetrated from India (Delhi callcenters) using magicjack VoIP phones. You can usually tell by the thick accents. Sometimes they use spoofed numbers to seem real. Read http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/press/press_tigta-2014-03.htm for some more background and what you should do. All others who read this, please do not fall for such a laughable attempt at stealing your money. The IRS never calls directly to open a case.

The same message - Paul Spectral(sp? - English Accent), from the  IRS Criminal investigation unit, levies and citation against us - threatening arrest warrant, etc.  This is nonsense.

Got the same call today...irritating that he knew my home address.  I called him on the scam and he begged me not to report the call and I assured him that I would.  Creepy!
