- John M. P.| 1 replyI received a recorded message from 202-241-0297. It said this is Officer (unintelligible) calling from tax crime investigation department of the internal revenue service. The reason I'm calling is to inform you that there is a criminal lawsuit filed against you by the internal revenue service..." and rambled on for awhile and said that if I don't call this number back within 24 hours that I would get arrested. That's right, the words were "You will get arrested." If she spoke better English she'd have said "You will BE arrested." The kicker is the last thing she said was "Have a nice day," LOL. I did an internet search and found that the company is YMax Communications and they seem to have numerous offices in the United States. Some branches offer things like "Never pay a phone bill again," etc. I found web pages of people's statements accusing them of various scams. 202 is Washington, DC. Maybe this is a group of crooked politicians, LOL. Of course I'm not calling them back.
- Caller: YMax Communications
- TonyI got the same message as above. These people should be shut down!!!
- These criminals should be arrestedI got the same message. I knew it was a scam because the IRS has nothing on us. We are honest citizens. Also, the IRS would be sending letters and we have nothing from the IRS. I really hope these scams will never exist in the very near future. Why wont the FBI or CIA check these scammers out? We all know they have received money from some senior citizens or a hard working American family. I just dont understand.
- Caller: Claims they are the IRS

- Mz lewis replies to John M. P.Had the same exact call myself today
- Rachel| 1 replyI received a phone call with the same automated message, that there was a lawsuit being filed against "your name" there was no mention of my actual name, stating that I would be arrested several times. I immediately searched the number and thankfully found that this was happening to other people. These types of messages should be illegal!

- Mrs. P replies to RachelRachel, It looks like we were called on the same day 6/25/18. I wonder if the pre-recorded calls go out at certain times of the day. I have never actually answered a call from the number that pops up on my caller ID, which is the same number they leave as a callback number in their voicemail. Since I did not answer their 1st call, I wonder if that’s what prompted a second call back...
Do you or any one else know if anyone has ever called the number back and spoke with an actual live person.?
