The message said we were getting sued by IRS

Same--just called me.  I'm guessing it's a scam!

Message says you are being sued by the IRS, call this number.  Caller ID said number from Washington, DC

Called a couple of hours ago.  Didn't answer.  Anytime the same
number has called several people at approximately the same day/time, it's probably a scam.

Left a message saying the irs is bringing charges against us and to call back immediately. Obvious scam. Do not give them any info.

Keep getting theaterning and harsing messages from these [***] at 202-241-0343.
There criminals need to be locked up by the FBI...along with anyone selling our phone numbers to these terrorist. I hope when Trump gets in the Whitehouse he goes after all these criminals

First, no one is selling your number to these scammers except maybe other scammers. They use computers that call numbers in sequence so unless they have your name, it is highly unlikely they got your number from anyone. Second, these criminals are operating from a foreign country and it takes cooperation from that country to shut these scams down.  Recently India arrested a group running this type of IRS agent scam but there are many more out there still not caught and new ones rapidly replace those caught.

I just got a call from this number threatening me with legal action unless I call them back. They stated it had to do with my tax filings. Thank you to those that posted here.

I just received the same call..I actually called num bk and someone answered an hung up!! SCAM

Was told that I had a warrant for my arrest because I owed the IRS and that I had to settle now on the line.

My daughter had this same message... I call the number n no one answers. I told her if it was IRS it would be a 800 number anyway
