Caller ID says MARTY5 DTYHDT. The voice mail was a partially-cut off robocall.  Out of curiosity I called back and reached what sounded like a call center where the phone was answered "IRS" -- total scam.  I said ' *expletive* this is NOT the IRS....and hung up.

It is a fake IRS Robo call . I called it back and they hung up because I blocked my number .  I then blocked them . 😡👿 Then I warned people on Twitter .  💀💀💀

Claims "IRS what's the nature of your call?"

Warned that IRS is filing suit pending tax delinquency and I have 45 minutes to pay by credit card, but provided no substantiation for balance claimed due.

Why doesn't the IRS do something about these false calls?

Simple  .  Callers are located in India and Pakistan and beyond the reach of US law.  Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.  Be a good idea to block the entire 202 area code.

Recevied 4 calls this morning, back to back stating that IRS was suing me for Fraud.  Looked up phone number and found consistent entries that this Fraud.  BLOCKING CALLER NOW.
