Called and said IRS

Keep receiving calls from this number stating they are wirh the IRS  but when I attempt to call this number back it gives a busy signal. Is this a legitimate number?

Have received 3 calls today but the one time I answered and questioned him repeatedly if I could contact him thru the main IRS Phobe number found online he at first said no, you can call me back at this number, then eventually said I could call the main IRS number but when pushed he hung up on me.❓❓

I received a call today from “John Miller” lol  he told me he was with the IRS and that the police were on their way to come get me. He said if I paid them their money they would stop the police from coming. I told him I would be happy to pay him He would just have to give me his supervisors information. I played his game for a few minutes before telling him I knew he was a scammer and he got upset with me and actually told me to [***] off. He hung up on me and I called him back and he answered saying hello IRS. I started laughing and said hey hung up on me  before I could pay and he told me again the [***] off and hung up. I reported the number to the IRS and my local police department.   The please department called the number but it was busy. I’m sure they disconnected it already
