recording said Ive been audited by IRS..they dont call to tell you this..SCAM

Got a call saying was being audited because of a lawsuit which I have not been involved in any and when he asked if I wanted him to read the file I said send it to me so I can take to my lawyer and they hung up.

I just received a call from "Paul Mason" the Attorney Genera telling me I am being audited by the IRS and department of home land security. I owe 3786.00 for overstating my expenses on my income taxes. What I have dione is a felony and is viewed by US federal agents as treason. If I do not pay this money the state police are going to come and take me to federal prison. I asked the foreign speaking man when they were coming and he told me they were on their way right now. I asked him when my court date was and he told me Monday at 5:30pm. I don't know any courts that are open after 4:30pm for this type of thing. Please do not be fooled and do not panic, the IRS does not work this way. I am a tax accountant and believe me, this is a scam.

I was having Federal charges being filed today if I did not satisfy 4,956.00.

I just received a phone call telling me that I was being audited, and I owed a sum of money. If I did not pay the amount due, I would face an arrest.  They must not have anything better to do then to harass the elderly retired peace officers.  I hope no one falls pray to this kind of Phone scam. We all have worked too hard, and too long to be harassed.

This is a scam and they should be arrested for impersonating  a federal  agent.
