Have been getting calls from this number and when I answer they hang up.

Caller ID just says Washington, DC and 202-367-9929. They've called 4 times in 4 days, and leave no message.  We just had to move thanks to our landlord not paying his mortgage, and the house was foreclosed on, so I think this and several similar calls that have shown up may be looking for him. We've only had our new phone number for 2 weeks and have given it to no one.

I got a hang up from this number too-it's a home number of a woman who lives in NE WashingtonDC.  I don't want to post her name, but if you look on anywho.com and put in that number, her name and address will come up.

It's the Washington Post wanting customers who have dropped their subscriptions to resubscribe.

I've received 5 calls from this number in the past 3 days, all at random times- in the early afternoon and evening, even after 8pm.  I finally picked up today and no one answered.  This is getting really frustrating, especially if it's the Washington Post because I've asked several times for them to stop calling me.

this seems to be of those low end collection agencies trying to collect old debts. They usually buy old and dead beat debts for next to nothing...

They call everyday, I never answer, and wait them to leave a message. They never do.
