Got a call from this number @ 2:00. Decided not to answer. They didn't leave a message, so I decided to punch in the number and see what came up. Glad I didn't answer. I've not applied for any jobs on line.

They called and told me if I stayed on the line, someone would provide me with a list of jobs in my area.  Four years ago, I applied for jobs on line - they got me at my current position.  Not appreciated!

I got the call this morning. I waited around to speak with someone, who just told me that she would forward my info to an employer, gave me another number and told me to call
I looked online for the second number, found nothing, so I searched this one.
When you call the second number (1800 875 5677) the focus of the first call becomes clear. It's an online university, trying to get you to enroll, they bypass any no call lists because you gave the information to CB or monster with the intent for someone to call you back.
I'll wait for the call to see who- She spoke really fast when mentioning the school's name, I think she said Kaplan.

It is Kaplan University. $365 a credit hour... Community College $55 a credit hour. 4 yr school in state is a lot less. They both offer school online...

So if you're already rich, or like wasting money, give them the time of day. Otherwise, just spend about the same amount of time going to a more local cost-efficant school.

My husband did Kaplan and the Army was supposed to pay for it since he is enlisted, well he had to go to the field and they said it was fine and they understood and would work with him...Did they? NO!  Now we are stuck paying $220 a month for 6 months to cover those classes...Kaplan is a scam to me as well!

Got a call this morning around 10am CST and I did not answer it because I figured if it was actually important they would leave a vm, but they did not and so I didn't call back. Glad I didn't since it's a waste of time. I have been applying for jobs, but nothing in that area, so I thought it would be some bs from that number. It is really heartless for people to be messing with hopeful job applicants at a time like this.

Got the call this AM too, the Career Network. Knowing the laws, I asked to speak with a supervisor. They were just suppose to be verifying information, right? The girl first time around, gave me another number to call. When asked to be transferred, they girl hung up. I called back. Got a lady by the name "Pinky". Asked if that was her real name, she stated yes. Went through the explaination again. She could not or would not give me any information but the name of the company & 2 different numbers to call. She could not even supply me with a physical address for the company. So, I called the first number: 678-691-4060, got a fast beep. Called the 800-875-5677 or the Career Institute. Got a little more information. Spoke with a Hannah. Told me that the Career Network (202-403-0827) was an outside 3rd party that they use. I asked to speak to a manager since I have not applied for a job in years, let alone use my cell on the application. I was told that the manager Mark Brown was in a meeting. I was politely asked to call back in a few hours to speak with him. I fully intended to do that, however I suggest everyone call Mr. Brown & complain. Maybe he will stop using this "outside 3rd party" to soliciate "students" to a crappy school.

This was a follow up call to an email I had recieved about a Logistics Coordinator position. They told me they were part of the Career Network and I had to be at a computer to complete the screening. Being at work I couldn't but I was given a number to call back to, 646-520-0697, when I was able to call back and verify. I looked it up and that number brought me here. as well as the number on my caller ID 202-403-0827. Sounds like a scam, I'll give it a miss.

Spoke to the real people replies to HR Manager
I just got off the phone with THE Career Network, based out of VA. As a Human Resource Manager myself, I had the same experience as the other one. And funny enough, got the same name "Pinky". Actually I could have wrote the other posting, minus the fact that Pinky gave me a website address also. I went to the website & noticed the company was out of VA. I called them & spoke with Karen. It is NOT her company. She is aware of this other company, though. So, on behalf of her, please note the differences between the companies. Her company (the legit one) is THE Career Network. This other company is just Career Network. I know this doesn't stop the annoying phone calls, just thought the legit company should not get "bad press" because of scam artist.

I received a call this morning from 202-403-0827. I did not answer the call since I did not recognize the number.  They did not leave a message so I do not know what the call was about. I looked up the number and found your site.  Thanks for the info.

Got the call on my cell phone with a recording of the Brit asking me to "Hold on for important information from Career Network."  I let it go on for about 3 minutes while I looked the number up and found this site.

I don't know about you guys, but I've a program on my phone that puts numbers I don't want to hear from on a "reject" list.  They don't even get through to my voice mail.
