This number keeps calling me talking about US goverment

She said something about a grant, I said I wasn't interested so she said f**k you, you're stupid and hung up

This number calls me twice a day while I am at work and does not leave any message. It try to call it back and it is says "The wireless customer is unavailable. Message 1md02ul" in English and sounds like Spanish too. I will try to answer next time to see what it is all about. This started the day after the election for me. Wonder if someone tampered with our information.

Just got the 1st call. I answered with the best Indian accent I can make (I'm American redneck), "Allo? Allo? Allo?" A Spanish accented lady snapped, "I can hear joo!" I answered,  "I hear joo too,  vut joo vunt?" She hung up...

Just got a call, said he is from the US Govt. grant dept. when I said I'm not interested they said something rude and hung up on me.  Scary thing is they called my cell phone and asked for me by name.  Did someone sell our info after the elections?!

Dial 10,000 phone numbers with auto-dialing equipment at a cost of $0.
1 in 10 people answer, so that’s 1,000 connected calls.
The average talk time per call is 10 seconds because most people hang-up.
If they pay $5 / hour, then it only costs them about $14 to connect 1,000 calls.
If 1 in 1,000 people spend $100 with the telemarketing company, then their profit margin is 86%!
Now, if instead of a 10 second average talk time, we increase the talk time to 2 minutes because everyone wastes their time. The math now looks like this:
The average talk time is 120 seconds.
If they pay $5 / hour, then it costs them about $170 to connect 1,000 calls.
If 1 in 1,000 people spend $100 with the telemarketing company, then they now lose $66 on every order!
