I got a missed call from this number.  I called the number back and got strange machine like noises with gaps.  I hung up and called the number back.  Got the same behavior

SCAM number. Trying to give away GOVERNMENT GRANTS and get your account information!

Received numerous calls each day from this number.  I answered once and asked them to stop calling.  When I attempted to call back, received a message that the number is not in service.

They have been calling for two weeks now.  At least two to three calls a day, including Saturdays.
Have not answered their calls.  they get on my message center, but leave no messages.

Just received a call from this number to my mobile. Woman's voice, West Asia (India?) or Pacific Rim... Also much static/wind/background noise. When I told her I could not understand her and I would give her another number, she hung up.  Redialed the number...bad number--out of service..

I have all phones (mobile and VoIP on the Federal Do Not Call list, BTW, for whatever good that does...

This number has been calling me multiple times, pretending to be all sorts of different business, but it's the same number. I'd love to find out who they are and try to get them shut down. They've called over and over and over, all morning. It's not just about not having them call. I want them shut-down. Any information you've received is appreciated!

Daily calls about Government Grants trying to phish for account details.

The call appeared on my phone without ringing. I am getting a lot of these calls. I do not intend to call them back.

This number has been calling me for a few weeks now. Multiple times a day and as early as 5 AM and as late as 8:30 PM. No voicemail ever left and when I call back the number, it makes weird noises or says "not in order". I finally picked up today and it sounded like a young Indian boy trying to give me $8400. His script read ,"I'm calling from Washington DC from the IRS and Dept of Treasury. You along with 1700 people have been selected for a grant in the amt of $8400 because you pay your taxes, have no bankruptcies or felonies." I told him this is a scam and to stop calling me. The boy hung up. Now they're calling me from 2147915471. Fun

Does it do any good to report this number?  202-407-9782  The call comes from Wash DC.  They always ask for some unknown Jody person. I've asked then several times to take our number off the list, and today the ignorant non-english speaking woman said, she advised me that they won't do that.  I was told they can't tell any one but Jody.  THERE IS NO JODY HERE!!!!!As I told them every tie they call, There is no Jody here, that we've had this number for 8 years. It does no good to have an unlisted/unpublished phone number because of their robo-dialing.

The call does not come from Washington DC. It comes from overseas via VOIP (Internet) phone service. The Caller ID is faked.

Just answered the number, as everyone else mentioned...calling from us dept. treasury..wants to give $8,400.  I called them on it as a scam.  Hung up
