Got a call from Lisa Carter and said I won 7000 n wants me to go to Western Union to pay her 285.00 WTF when I got there I did send 285 then I waited 1 hour n the money never got to me I thot I was gonna get da 7000 she told me people plzz don't get fool by this scam!!!!

I got da same call yesterday n this lay Lisa Carter said I won 7000 from da government n I got excited so she said to go to Western Union n put 285 n I did it then I waited at tops n waited for 1 hour or 2 n da money neverrr got to me I got really angry im tracin all da conversation we talked ima report her ass!! Plzz people don't get fool by this sick lady !!! Ur gonna regret it big timeeee!!!

Call yesterday from this number saying that I won $7000.00 from the goverment because of my clean criminal record or whatever. They gave me that number to call and get the money through Western Union, but nobody answered. Im glad I didn't go any further with that fraud.

The call came to my house from 888-888-8888.You have 7.000 dollars in grant money from the u.s. government that you will not have to pay back. Did I want it to be deposited in my banking account or cash. iPicked cash and they gave me a number to call 202-407-9828

 202-407-9828  is a scam do not send money or give banking info.

It is a scam and the more you ask questions, the louder she gets and says she's going to cancel your grant.  What BS!!!  I asked her what the number she is calling and she said 202-407-9828, so I told her to transfer me to the grant account manager and she started getting annoyed with me.  She said her name was Stacey Brown.  Hang up, it is a total scam.  The actual incoming number for (888)888-8888.  I really hope they get arrested and thrown in jail - to state that they are from our US government!!!!

My wife got this phone call. They claim she won $7000 grant, which can be wire transferred or credited to credit card. They want $17 for this. They started asking more details. It is hard to believe government has no knowledge of our address and other info.

202-407-9828 is the number to call for my "free grant money." The call came in on an 888-888-8888 number. I did not give my account number and I said that I didn't know where the Western Union office was. Then, the  heavily accented woman, told me congratulations! DON'T BE FOOLED.

I received this call today 06/12/2013 and was told that. I was selected by the U.S.Federal Government to receive a Personal Benifits Grant so I took down all the info and got the name of the man I spoke with i.e.(John Gandarada) & I called my mother to see if she had ever heard of such and she said as I felt sounds like a scam so I went online to look into Personal Benifits Grants no dice on that Unicorn . So I called the number and got no answer then finally a woman answered and I couldn't make out what she said so Isaid excuse me and she hung up so I called back and an Indian man answered and asked for the I.D.# I was given and.to that Ireply tells me more about this "Grant" before I give him the # to which Iwas asked to hold. and he never returns .....

I am active duty navy and received this phone call having the discussion with pay department about my current LES and I informed the civilian working an they started laughing

I did too send the 285 and got nothing back I feel stupid for sending the cash I should of looked up all the info before sending now i know to tell them to F off thank you

a call today saying I had been chosen to receive $7000 grant money from the us government. I was then told in order to receive the grant I had to pay a one time fee of $285.at the same time I am researching the number. so I tell this female that I am speaking with that this is a SCAM and please do not call me anymore or I will contact the proper authorities. I got that call too, and then I looked them up and found out they was scamming people.when I called them back I told them I know this is a scam and if they don't get rid of whatever information they have of mines I'm going to the police.
