They call my phone from one number and leave another stating it's the IRS. When I call and them question they hang up

Scums pretending IRS lawsuit against me.

Recording on Voice Mail says the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

Here's the message:
"To reach you. This call is officially a final notice from IRS internal
revenue services. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is
filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file.
Please call immediately on our department number 202-413-5117. I repeat
202-413-5117. Thank you."
Sure you are.  See you in court.

Pretending to be IRS, left msg to call this number immediately. Caller ID shows as a cell phone

Same as BrooklynFred. Called they were IRS and were filing lawsuit against me and I needed to call for information.  I quess the court will be crowded.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone...  The exact message as above but they also said that they had been trying to contact me several times.  Well, I called back and the phone rang about 6 times before I hung up.  I figured it was a scam, because the IRS will audit you first but not after proper notification.

"fake automated message"... looks like from the other comments it is a scam.

Same number same IRS Scam.  I am a consumer law attorney and I told them I am reporting the number to the FBI.  They hung up.

rec'd mess to call irs bc im being sued. ii called bk, when i asked if this is irs, the guy hung up on me. i called bk 3 x on the 3 try a
different guy answered, he asked my name, i gave my last name, he "checked" & gave me my first name & said im being audited for sev yrs. i said thats funny i didnt work those yrs, he hung up. i called bk, they never picked up again. i then called & reported them. i of all people shd know better, yet i called bk. don't call any number u dont know.

Received same scam call. Used an app to find caller. They were in DC off Baltimore Ave. near Global Home store and Contemporary Furniture store. I don't think the IRS is located there. These folks need to get a life.
