Missed a call on my cell from this number and they left a message saying it was the IRS. I called back from a different number and they asked my cell number. I asked why because I didn't believe it to be the IRS and they hung up. I call back now and get no answer

IRS scammers. They left a message on my answering machine. I never pick up on unrecognized numbers. If it's important or someone I know, they'll leave a message. Criminals won't.

robo message stating IRS final notice - filing a law suit against you call etc- have used several different DC area phone numbers for call back -

IRS recorded message saying this is a final warning call back before they file lawsuit

Message left stating IRS is filing a suit

They must be getting everybody today they tried to get me too

Claims to be the IRS and giving you final notice of a lawsuit against you. Apparently no one trusts the Nigerian/Indian/Arab accents anymore so they are using recorded messages that sound like Siri (woman's voice no accent, sounds like a robot). The message tells you to call the number back to discuss your "case file". This is obviously a scam do not call these pigs.

Called me twice today so far and it's only noon. irs scam call. don't call back.
