someone called my grandparents looking for me at this number.  even knew where i attended undergrad.  said he was trying to get in touch with me. hmmmm

ERS has about 10 different numbers they call from and they do not stop! 202.461.3449, 315.627.7131 and many others. I wish I would document it all and sue them!

Received a call asking for my gov't from a Gracie Smith. Refused to leave any information when i asked her to leave a message.

Received a call from this number on Jan 18, 2010. No message left. When I called back the call did not go through.

yes, this is ERS - a collection agency - and they do call from various numbers.  another number, in addition to the one listed by brandy above, is 732-941-0167.

Get calls from ERS all the time and I tell them the person they are looking for does not live here.  They still call at least 6 times a day from different phone #'s.  This is the first from 202-461-3449,  but they call from 732-941-0167, 315.627.7131 and others I am so tired of it.  I just don't answer the phone anymore.

They call me all the time. It doesn not stop. They try to trick you leaving messages like " I recieved your email and would like to talk about some opportunities with you." I'm unemployed so I fell for this the frist time. They then laughed at me because I have no one to "borrow" money from to pay back my college. Here are some other numbers they use.781-884-0676

These people call all hours of the day and night. They have called as late as 10PM and have threatened my husband with violence saying they will come to our home if we don't pay a debt they claim to be collecting on from 1989!!! I have told them repeatedly that the account was settled in 1989 and told them with whom it was settled and that I will not negotiate anything on this but they apparently are just as stupid as they are stubborn because they keep right on calling.

You can write a cease and desist letter by certified mail.

I have told  these people that I will consoladate my loans in April 2011 not be fore and they keep haressing me day and night, weekdays and weekends I have even told them to stop calling and they won't

My first call from 202-641-3449 about 15 minutes ago. We'll see how many more I get. I'm paying my student loans right now so why would they need to call me about that? They sound pretty shady.
